We made a reservation months in advance. When we arrived at 1:30 am coming in on a late flight, the computer system was down. We were told we could not be given a room until it was running. The person at the desk barely said anything to us, offered no apology, offered no estimate of problem resolution. Total of about 10 words offered. It appeared he was hiding in a back office. There were two other parties also awaiting a room. After waiting about an hour we found a room 20 minutes away at a Hilton, where we were warmly greeted and offered empathy and free snacks. We contacted ******* the following day and were told we would not be charged. But, you guessed it... we were charged. We got ******* to reverse the charges, but so far have called twice to the Holiday Inn to speak with the manager (Melissa) and have not been called back. In short - horrible, horrible experience all the way around.
