After two nights in the Roseland Corp Hotel I just don’t know where to start describing this horrible experience as everything - the service, the rooms, the prices - was just so, so bad. So I just start at the beginning: We arrived on a Thursday. Arranging a pick-up from the airport was surprisingly complicated, it took several mails with the service manager for no reason but in the end there was a quite unfriendly driver waiting for us at the gate. They charged us 750.000 Dong which is way above the common taxi-rate (150.000 Dong). When we arrived at the hotel they charged my credit card for the room - twice. As the woman at the front desk didn’t understand English that well, it was quite complicated to convince her of her mistake and get the money back. The Roseland Corp hotel has an impressive entrance area. It’s nice, really. But unfortunately this doesn’t translate to the rooms. They are terrible, probably furnished in the 80s and not renewed since. They have whirlpool bathtubs made of plastic, lots of wood in the room, curtains that haven’t been washed for ages, and you can hear everything that is going on outside of your room. The first room we got smelled like cold cigarette smoke. I complained and they upgraded us to a bigger room (after we looked at a series of rooms, one of them still in use by a paying guest). But even the upgraded room was by far worse then everything we have seen in Vietnam. I wanted to cancel the whole reservation but they wouldn’t let us go. Instead they promised us the best room of the hotel the next day and we stayed. The first night was terrible. The bed had a very, very old and thus noisy spring mattress. The slightest movement made a noise. The walls and curtains had stains all over it. There’s no constant hot water, I had a cold shower in the morning. Shower and toilet happened to make weird unexpected noises. The best room in the hotel was basically the same as before but with a better view and a less noisy mattress. At this point I was ready to drink on that but unfortunately all the mini bar contained was two bottles of water. Breakfast was…well, let’s not talk about it. All of this would have been okay somehow if this hotel wasn’t so pricey. It’s like paying for a filet mignon and getting McDonalds Cheesburger. When we checked out the woman at the front desk (the same who messed up the payment) kindly asked us to sit and wait in the entrance area so she can check if everything is okay. We waited five, ten, fifteen minutes and nothing happened. When we asked her if everything was okay, she was surprised to see that we are still there. Yes, everything okay, she said. I can’t say the same. P.S.: Neil, the doorman, was the only exception to this experience. You are great, man! Please find a new employer.

這次入房型是靠路邊有大窗戶的房型、採光真的很棒、但是外邊的汽車和機車的喇叭聲、會影響到想晚起的我、飯店的位置十分方便、而且一樓就有咖啡店和餐廳、晚上也營業超過一點、不用擔心半夜肚子餓沒地方去、服務員們一樣非常的親切、用英文都能溝通

Blue Diamond Signature Hotel 3* has shared the same address with Sky Gem Hotel Sora 4* in Google Map. The two hotels are now the same. Its does not look like the pictures shown in Google Map/Bookings. The hotel's good location is right opposite to the Thai Van Lung gate of Japanese corner. Its 8F pool area is under construction during May 2022. The corridors have not been air conditioned. Room numbers notice are attached by papers on the corner. Walking in the corridors feel like a maze. The garage is not in use. Decoration materials are there. If you have own vehicles, it is wise to park it in the nearby public pay parking lot. The lobby has a coffee shop. The restaurant provides simple breakfasts. The rooms with windows are DELUXE – Internal, Junior suite, VIP. It is suggested to book directly with the hotel. The Interiors are designed with many bamboos. The air conditioner in room takes a while to cool down the room. A ventilation well is behind the bamboo slide door. The bathtub is next to the bed. Toilet and shower room is behind the bed. The floor has no carpet. It is quiet during night. Soundproof is ok. In general, the hotel has a very good location.

Location is very good, as district1 is ”japan town” and you can go from there to many other locations. Also walking arround is nice, but recommend to be aware of your surroundings when doing so at night. staff is very very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok. It is small, but have everything you need. If the restaurant is full, you can also eat in the lobby. room was ok. Big enough for everything, just a little bit old school. 1 day it was too noisy outside, but other days where ok.

VERY RESPONSIVE Our flight was scheduled to arrive at 1:40 AM, Vietnam Time. I sent a message to the hotel about the schedule, and they were responsive. I was even asked if I'd be needing some help. When we got to the hotel at around 2:30 AM, even if late, we were greeted and assisted cordially, as if we arrived during working hours. LOCATION IS NEAR THE ATTRACTIONS It is literally a walking distance from all the tourist attractions in District 1! There are also a lot of convenience stores nearby for your late night needs. ROOM IS WORTH THE MONEY I booked a room for three, and it was more than I expected. The beds were spacious enough. The queen size could even fit three persons, and the single could fit two. There is a tub with a window with a view of the street (with roll down curtains, of course), giving you that Italy Vibe. Both the room and the bathroom are spacious. STAFF IS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND FRIENDLY ROOM CLEANER IS VERY THOROUGH The staff of the hotel is very friendly-reception, dining, and housekeeping. They will really provide you with your needs. Here in the Philippines, that kind of service will only be given to you in a hotel worth three times the cost of your stay in Nhat Ha L Opera. As to the housekeeping, they are really thorough in cleaning. Our room was very clean after we asked for a make-up. Supplies are also abundant. FREE BREAKFAST IS SUPERB The breakfast buffet will serve you with all kinds of food- Vietnamese, European, American, etc. They have different stations for each. Imagine having a ”GLOBAL BREAKFAST”. Moreover, the food tastes really great! Their Pho is as good as that from a specialty shop. I sort of pigged out and forgot about my diet for the duration of my stay because the food was really good. OVERALL Overall, this is highly recommended. I will definitely book here again when I come back. Thank you!

We always choose Roseland Corp whenever we are visiting HCM City. This time we tried the sister hotel Roseland Sweet. It is Sweet as the brand. the front de3sk staff is super attentive and go above and beyond to ensure your expectation met. Definitely has to visit Moon Spa, I had the Moon massage with body scrub and its quite an experience. Definitely come back soon

我們通過Expedia最後一分鐘預訂了酒店,每晚約AUD225,4人入住有窗家庭房(2張大牀,一間房間),包括早餐。房間在角落的7層。房間舒適,乾淨,空間充足,但不是太寬敞。提供免費瓶裝水和一些免費水果。浴室現代乾淨。Airco工作得很好。我們每天晚上都有附近戶外音樂的噪音,但沒有阻止我們睡覺。早餐還可以,還不錯,但也不刺激。酒店大堂不錯,服務很好,很友好。游泳池很小,屋頂座位很少。我給這家酒店4星,而不是3星的原因是位置非常中心,在一條安靜的街道上,但靠近一切。再加上合理的價格,這家酒店在胡志明市幾個晚上都是不錯的選擇。
