I visited with my sister for a short break to celebrate my birthday Pros - The check in process was smooth and professional. - The room was clean and comfortable. Towels changed and bed made daily - The spa was excellent with everything you’d expect and more including Jacuzzi’s, steam room, sauna and the best relaxation room containing heated stone beds! (Not sure exactly what they’re called) Cons - We stayed half board and the food was simply not good. The usual cooked breakfast items were on offer, but the eggs were cold, the bacon fatty and in my opinion, inedible. Dinner was the same set menu for the 3 days we were there. The first night we had duck (pictured) which was a small leg and tiny portion of potato dauphinois, no veg. The second night my sister ordered the chicken curry and wild rice. Her chicken was still pink and the sauce tasted like it came out of a jar; no curry flavour detected. I had ordered grilled chicken and seasoned potato wedges. The chicken was over cooked and unseasoned as if someone had just put it under the grill and left it. The waiter did offer her an alternative , but we were not willing to risk it. There was no evidence that a chef or even an average cook had been anywhere near any of the meals we were offered. We decided to eat out on the third night. - The biggest con was the fact that the hotel was very near to a night club which meant no sleep for us until the partying stopped at around 4.30am! Obviously, this would not be a problem for those visiting Barcelona in order to party, but for us it meant an otherwise great holiday ended with us feeling the need for another break to sleep!

Nice clean and tidy. Close to Sagrada familia (5-7 minutes walk) and to metro stații (3-5) minutes walk. Well equiped rooms with all that you might need. Real friendly staff. Perfect for families with children ( kids playroon, gym and laundry)

This hotel is nice could be better could be worse. The rooms are nice and modern, very clean and well structured. Cafes and little shops close by and very little road noise from outside. However, there’s a few let downs. No mini bar in the rooms for number one, prices but no products. It’s near on impossible to get a drink from the “24 hour bar” due to lack of staff. Waited 25 minutes to get a soft drink before giving up. The rooftop bar isn’t open either which is a bit frustrating due to outside food and drink being banned on the terrace and the hot tub is freezing cold. Be prepared to walk. Everything (the beach, marina and old town) is all at least a 30-40 minute walk and quite hilly. Taxis are hard to come by close to the hotel so lots of walking is needed. Finally 1 bottle of water in the room for 4 days for 2 people is not enough and bearing it mind it’s so hard to buy some from the bar this was disappointing.
