阿迪斯古薩拉飯店(Guzara Hotel Addis)

Thank you and your family and staff for your very kind attention to looking after me and ensuring my stay at the Guzara Hotel was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. I very much appreciated your kind attention in picking me up and dropping me off at Bole international airport. I also very much appreciated the kind attention and care of your wife and son through very tasty breakfasts and suppers with authentic Ethiopian cooking. Thank you too to your other staff such as Tensai and Zenesh on reception and the hotel guard. All were genuinely very friendly and helpful and you can be proud of your team! My room was clean and lovely and spacious. It had a very comfortable bed, and since your hotel it situated in a quiet area, I always had a good sleep! There was also plenty of hot water and the electricity supply and wifi were regular. The wifi had one or two very minor interruptions, but your son very kindly sorted these out very quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending your hotel as a great place to stay. Your customers should know that a trip into town will take about 1 hour or more (due to the traffic in Addis) by Uber-type taxi, but this is not a problem - it is just something that should be planned for. A single trip to the centre of Addis cost me 360 birr (about $6.70) - which was a fair price given the time taken and distance. Your customers should know that hotels nearer the centre of town are more expensive, so even though you may pay $13 USD per day on taxis to town and back, you will still save money compared to a more expensive hotel in the centre of town. Also, customers should note that they can travel much more cheaply by minibus (maybe taking two minibuses from Guzara into town for less than $1 in total there and back). I used to travel by minibus, but did not do so on this 1 week trip to Addis because I had less time and didn’t have the time to take slower minibuses. Thank you all so much! I hope we meet again. This was one of my best hotel stays in Addis. Guzara exceeded my expectations in many ways: a free airport shuttle; great location away from the main road (if you cherish the quality of your sleep); a very homely a**osphere and helpful staff… all for a very reasonable price. The room I stayed in was average-sized but very cozy and clean; the food is amazing! I now have a hotel to return to for my regular business trips to Addis.

I was looking for a quite place near the international airport and near Bole. I was lucky enough to find a room at Guzara Hotel. The amazing English speaking staff made sure everything was ok and were extremely helpful and polite during my entire stay. The neighborhood is safe and silent during the night. The rooms were always clean and with warm water. You can't ask for anything more

Wow, I am blown away by the exceptional customer service Guzara Hotel provided during my stay there. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I undoubtedly would. They helped me with so many things even BEFORE I arrived there. MONTHS before. I had millions of questions that they answered with so much professionalism, knowledge and care. They took care of setting me up with my travels to Djibouti and were very flexible when my schedule changed around. I scheduled a city tour with the owner himself. He was a very safe driver and very knowledgeable, and you can just see how much he actually cares, not just about being in the tourism business to make money, but also to provide a great experience for travelers. He was very accommodating to the things I wanted to see and the things I liked. And, he made it ALL happen, and then some. Traveling as a solo female, they were very worried about who I met and went out with and even went out of their way to get their contact information and make copies of their ID before I left. They were so protective, it was very endearing! Another time, I came back from a very muddy hike, and my boots were covered in thick mud. They took my boots and cleaned it to where it looked brand new! It was something definitely didn't need to do, but again, top-notch service. If you are ever looking for lodging or tours, PLEASE start with Guzara Hotel. I have never been treated with such amazing hospitality and care.

If you are looking for a place close to the international airport, close to Bole and in a silent area far from busy streets you don't need to look any further. The staff was incredibly polite and the rooms always clean. I will definitely come back next time
