拉羅謝爾汽車旅館(La Rochelle Motel)

My son and his partner had invited me to go on a road trip adventure in New Zealand and Akaroa was our first stop after Christchurch. I really would have been happy to cancel the rest of the trip and stay here for a couple of weeks! The location is perfect, set within easy walking distance of all the local attractions, restaurants and shops. The two apartments were beautifully set out, extremely clean and comfortable and equipped with top quality amenities. (The towels were especially nice being soft and luxurious!) One of the special features was the balcony overlooking the stream and complete with the constant sound of birdsong. This provided a serene and peaceful environment for relaxation. The owners were friendly and helpful (and it was so good that they had a stock of almond milk for the vegan members of the group.) I can highly recommend this motel for either a short or long stay to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable retreat on the edge of this interesting little town.

Ce motel est tenu par un couple super sympa, tres dévoué et a l'écoute. Ils nous ont donné des infos intéressantes par rapport aux randos et nous ont même montré des photos sur l'écran télé installé à cet effet à la réception. Vraiment sympas tous les deux. Merci à vous.

Très beau séjour Motel au calme

Excellent place to stay - very clean and comfortable- good position in town- delightful managers who were so helpful - carrying luggage up to our rooms and giving us good oil on where to eat and find the best coffee - nothing was too much trouble

Our room is lovely and clean. It is quiet with a peaceful garden outside the back door. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the owners are very helpful too. It is close to the water, close to the Centre and a great place to walk in the sun along the waterfront.

What a pleasant experience. Definitely our nicest yet in South Island and great value for money. The whole Motel was immaculate and modern. The hosts were super friendly and professional. Everything was clean and linen was fresh and quality. Rooms modern and spacious and well equipped with everything you could need, even a couple of wee eyemake remover pads! TV, King bed (& super comfy), fridge, microwave, tea coffee jug & milk, heated towel rail, iron & board and a lovely wee patio area with nice outdoor table & chairs, lovely garden/native outlook. Laundry facilities available at a minimum cost and book exchange in reception. And situated on the quite end of the main street so only a short walk to beautiful Akaroa township.

Property was clean with an excellent outdoor area small quiet with trees and a little brook.

Very friendly, helpful hosts, nice new upgrades to nearly all the units, can walk to anywhere with ease within either side of the town and back. Enjoy your stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our two nights. Bush, birdsong, tranquility.
