Very nice place with plenty of room. Good free breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only downside if you have a lot of luggage is that there are no elevators and 1st floor is not lobby level. So possibility of having to carry luggage up 3 floors or curved stairs.

A convenient place to stay near the centre of town. Quite basic but fine for a stop off on a touring holiday.
Akureyri is a livelier place than most in Iceland and there are plenty of bars nearby for a late evening drink.

Front of house staff were excellent. Very welcoming, friendly and professional. They even presented me with a cake as it was my birthday on date of checking in. The cake was delicious too! Great hotel. Would highly recommend!

Quaint little hotel close to town. Very dated and in need of an update. The photos you see online don’t really represent the mold in the shower or the shower that is almost too small to be an RV shower. Bed was comfortable, staff were kind, breakfast was good. Curtains not sufficient to keep the light out so bring a mask if you come when it’s light all the time. Parking was essentially about 6 spaces across the street so get there early if you want to park for free.

We spent two nights in Akureyri and definitely enjoyed staying there. It's a pretty basic, no-frills hotel, but offered everything we needed. Everything was clean and worked.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful as well.
I liked the location too - it was very close to the center but not directly there, and as such very quiet.
