埃爾夫瑟姆飯店(The Elvetham Hotel)

Wirklich schöne außergewöhnliche Anlage mit speziellem Charme. Sehr ruhig. Schönes sauberes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Park gehabt. Essen im Restaurant war lecker, nur leider kein vernünftiger Rotwein glasweise erhältlich, ebenso wenig in der Bar.

We arrived 11pm and the receptionist was excellent. Windows rattled in the wind but I just stuffed paper in the gaps. Shower was very nice and modern. Tried to get a tea and some lunch the following morning but no-one to serve so just left. Aesthetically a lovely hotel though.

Due to a gas leak at hotel, my stay was unable to take place as planned at very short notice. They did put in place plans for a stay at a loosely equivalent hotel nearby with room rate honoured which I was able to choose. This was a leisure stay so the dining experience was important to me, and that is where I may not have got equivalence - just waiting for final admin to sort out so I don’t lose out on reward nights. Hopefully will be able to stay in future

The lady at checkin did not run through any of the timings or facilities of the hotel, she was also more concerned with dealing with a colleagues queries than checking me in. Room was clean and tidy but dated, bathroom was very cold (radiator undersized for sure) Dinner was nice but at breakfast there was little to no service, in fact we didn’t even get given a menu or told how to get the breakfast. Very chatty and informative barman in the residents lounge which was nice and very friendly Overall OK but needs to up its game before I’d consider staying again

Great stay. Hotel staff attentive & polite. Hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, the hotel is everything you would expect from an old Manor House.

My room was upgraded, and was lovely . I wasn’t told it was an upgrade until the second day. One downside, was the lack of a lift, and two flights of stairs

Lovely hotel, stayed twice now, once in the main house and once in the stables. Grounds and house are beautiful. We've used it to visit London as it's only about 45 minutes from Richmond station. Would definitely stay again but some better pillows and perhaps an extra blanket would be appreciated.

This is our second stay here. We like it so much we have returned. The bar is very cosy and comfortable. It was very pretty

We only stayed one night but had a huge family room in the stables which was comfortable and quiet. The grounds, room and hotel were beautiful and well maintained. I would like to stay for longer next time. The Christmas decorations were lovely!
