Staybridge Suites Buffalo-Amherst

I ended up having a nice stay at this property but don’t think I would choose this location again. Upon check in the staff were friendly. I was told at check in that breakfast was from 7-10, however, this was only true for one of the two mornings I was staying and because we ended up missing breakfast the second day as it ended earlier given it was a Monday. If I had been told this I would have gone down earlier. The room had everything we could need. I was disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the room. At first inspection I could see many things that weren’t up to my standard including dust crumbs collecting in the corners of the room, the walls in many areas were filthy and need to be washed, a hand towel hanging with an evident makeup stain. It just had an overall feeling of needing a good deep clean.

Awesome! Staff super friendly! Free laundry! Free food perks that we didn't even know about! Complimentary breakfast was fabulous! Beds comfy. 10/10 - great price, location, amenities, and service.

Welcomed by two incredibly freindly team members. Warm cookies. The property is adjacent to a small commercial area with several restaurants: a pizza place, tavern, Thai, convenience store and cookie place. That was helpful. Incredibly quiet. Really great breakfast in the morning. Would stay again.

Staff was very nice. Mark at front desk was great, he answeded all are queztions and allowed us to checkin early. Our children LOVED the pool and had an amzing time. Thanks and we look forwad to visiting in the future.

When I initially stayed the property was pristine, clean,better kept. Now just did my 3rd or 4th trip and I get the feeling this hotel is starting to struggle. The grounds, around the hotel and the rooms not as clean, upkept or dusty in other areas. Me and my family was also locked out of our room for a few hours because of a lock failure on my door. I was given a discount on my bill, but felt this could have been handled better. Also, luckily we brought our own shower gel, because the one in my hotel bathroom was broken. I stay here everytime I visit my son or drop him off at UB, as it is very convenient to everything, but now I think I will start to explore other options. The property needs to be managed much better.

Nice rooms and clean rooms and kitchen. Sofa in room can be updated. Loved the kitchen with all amenities. Breakfast good- eggs could be a bit hotter but overall good selection. Thanks Staybridge Buffalo!

I’d be skeptical of the high rating. The place was average at best - not awful, though. It was clean and well located, but the room we were in was really noisy (despite being told 'all the rooms are quiet‘, the breakfast was not inspiring, the pull out mattress was well past its due date, the kitchen also had a less than premium feel. But it was the noise that really irritated us. The pool was average, like the whole experience.

Lovely hotel. We had a suite with a kitchen for our large family and it was quite comfortable. 6 kids and 2 adults in 2 bedrooms with a middle couch bed. Lots of space and other families there to interact with. The staff was friendly and kind. My only complaint was the dryers in the complimentary laundry were mostly out of order and only 2 of the remaining dried anything. Breakfast was by far the best I've had at a family-friendly hotel and was clearly very popular with the people staying.

Great place with incredibly friendly staff. Location is perfect for us and there is plenty of restaurants if needed out the front door. It is definitely a little outdated but it’s clean and comfortable.
