斯帕爾飯店(Sparr Hotel)

It was a nice hotel , not very clean but ok for the budget

The hotel is awful, old fashioned, smelly, they never once hoovered or cleaned the room or the bathroom! The air con/heating didn’t work, the tv didn’t work, the toilet itself was broken and each time I flushed, the toilet would flood! There were exposed cables in the bathroom and near basin area, the shower itself would ooze a horrible smell! They didn’t provide a coffee cup to drink out of even after asking several times! They were rude and told me to use the bathroom glasses/tumblers! We stayed here as part of a tour of Jordan, but it was traumatic to say the least! 3 nights of awful food, bland, tasteless, they would recycle the meals and you’d have it for the next day (dinner as breakfast etc). The omelette station guy was clueless and nearly set himself on fire a few times! I made my own omelette once as no one was around! The food was left uncovered so would have flies over them, cold most of the time, it was like eating mush every day! The hotel has a gym and pool but they let random people into the hotel to use these for a small amount of pocket change! I was in the gym one evening with others from my tour group and we were threatened by a group of Jordanians who demanded to know our room numbers, our personal details and one tried to take my iPhone! This was reported to the hotel manager who said he would take action but he never did anything and we couldn’t use the gym or pool again the remainder of our stay there! Complaints were made in writing to the tour operator, who issued compensation, but the hotel and its abysmal staff lied and tried to lay blame on us as guests! Truly shocking and I hope people are aware of everything before considering staying here! We felt unsafe, from outside people who walked in without any security checks, and also unsafe from the staff as the manager invited his friends over to watch football, who all made threats to us! The hotel is very tired, located on a dark and unsafe side street, with horrible staff, disgusting inedible food, smelly unclean rooms, and bathrooms etc that don’t work! My stay in Jordan was marred by this hotel and it’s staff, but we managed to salvage the experience with better safer hotels the remainder of our stay.

El hotel es muy viejo y está bastante deteriorado, el personal no hace mucho porque tu estancia sea mucho mejor, los colchones son bastante malos (se notan los muelles) y las almohadas tampoco ayudan al descanso. Esta en una ubicación muy lejos de todo y aunque los taxis o Uber no son excesivamente caros, se te quitan muchas ganas de disfrutar mejor Ammán En el tema de desayuno es totalmente pobre y las cenas no mejoran mucho.

Nice hotel. In commercial area so not great for exploring on foot or going out in the evening. V cold in rooms - had to ask for extra blankets. Snowed while we were there and restaurant floor flooded - slipped over on floor twice before they closed the room. Food choices fine for veggie.

spent 2 nights on the 28th & 29th Oct with my family. were allocated a double room ie connecting room or may be a mini suite room no 113& 115. the rooms were excellent with all the modern amenities. the bathroom was spacious and well maintained. its located in a residential area a bit far from the main road so no views to see. but a good place to stay. the down side is the dinner menu which is limited. breakfast was good and they had the live omlette counter which was good. also they need to improve their room service which needs lot of attention.

Les chambres sont correctes, lit de 160, salle d'eau en 2 parties (1 douche et Wc, l'autre lavabo avec sèche-cheveux mais pas de tapis de douche!!! La nourriture pas terrible surtout quand ils reçoivent des dizaines et des dizaines d'Indonésiens : à 7H30, plus de pain, plus d'eau chaude pour le nescafé et plus de lait et jamais de jus de fruit. Aux diners, des timbales en plastique sont proposées pour l'eau dans des réservoirs. Le dernier jour, ils ont installé une armoire frigorifique pour proposer des boissons payantes : eau en bouteille, jus de fruit ou bières avec ou sans alcool.

Fuimos en un viaje organizado y nos adjudicaron este hotel que dice ser de 4 estrellas. Pero la realidad es que su calidad no es de 4 estrellas sino de 2. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, quizas por eso habían tenido 4 estrellas. Pero la moqueta se ve sucia, el lavabo tiene silicona negra de moho, y lo peor es que no puedes regular la temperatura del aire acondicionado. Ammán en diciembre hace mucho frío y dentro de la habitación no se estaba confortable y no se podìa subir la temperatura. La comida muy buena pero el buffettes de desayuno poco variado. El cagé era agua caliente i a parte polvos. La leche fría y los vasos de plástico (hotel 4 estrellas con vasos de plático?). La cena a veces era bufette y otras te traian la comida a la mesa sin opcion a escoger (mejor). Hay que destacar que el personal era amable. Los enchufes no funcionaban y vino el manitas del hotel y nos arregló 2 para los cargadores. Uno de los problemas de este hotel es que está a13 km del centro. Nada de voy a dar una vuelta, hay que coger un taxi, eso sí, muy barato (3 dirhams unos 4 euros). Es una lástima que con esas habitaciones amplias los detalles sean de una fonda de pueblo.

Bel hôtel la chambre était décorée avec goût et propre. Tout etait bien équipé avec sèche cheveux et même un fer à repasser. On entend pas les bruits de la rue. Piscine et jacuzzi mais attention le maton ppur les femmes et l ap midi ppur les hommes. Petit déjeuner copieux ainsi que le dîner
