Embassy Suites by Hilton Anchorage

The hotel was nice and clean. The rooms were big. Unfortunately their website states they have room service but when we got there they told us that’s not accurate.

I stayed at this property on my way to Seward for a wedding. I realized I left my AirPods at the property when we got to Seward, but I could see exactly where they were on my iPhone devices, which was in our hotel room. I called the front desk and they said they would look for them. I returned to the hotel a few days later on our way home. I told the front desk person that I had called, but they had no record of me calling. I then let them know again that I left my AirPods in my room. By now they had died, but I showed them the last known location, which was still the room as of two days earlier. I told them the room number and date of stay, but because someone was checked into the room, they refused to do anything. They wouldn't even call the guest and ask them to check. I told them that they were probably in the couch or under the bed, but they did not care. They would not allow me to go knock and ask either. I had to just leave them in Alaska and watch them sit in that room from my location service until some one found them and took them. Now they are charged again and someone in The Philippines has a great pair of AirPods. By how little this front desk worker cared about my property and how the person I spoke to on the phone did nothing says a bit about the type of people they choose to employ and I can't recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Anchorage.

Front desk was the word in a while. Came in first to the desk with kids, but front desk employee choose to check in 5 UPS pilots first one by one. One frost desk employee only rest were just standing there. When told them that I need check in they turn on the other computer and checked us in.

The heater in the room did not work now we’re sick. The phones didn’t work. Reported issues to front desk and nothing was fixed. Jacuzzi did not work and was cold

This was the worst experience we have ever had in an Embassy Suite. Rooms were cold, and after calling 3 times, had to go to the front desk. We were alloted 2 towels for 4 people. Room service was knocking on our door at 9am and she stayed outside of our room until we finally were pushed out at 10am. We were told checkout was 10am when itnwas posted as noon. Customer service was horrible.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in a two room suite with our 3 grandchildren for Spring Break. We had a wonderful time except for the noise right above us. I called numerous times and the front desk told me they were aware of the problem already and that they were having a birthday party. The noise when I called was past 10pm. I also heard it at 3am. It sounded as if kids were jumping onto the floor. We were not compensated for our stay. The front desk also said they had other calls from other guest about the same party.

I thought staying at the Embassy would be a nice treat, however was disappointed. The hotel is showing it's age and is not being maintained very well. I was also disappointed you had to request maid service. The parking was a nightmare. If we weren't back by 6 p.m., there was ZERO parking! The pool area needs maintenance/repairs/ thorough cleaning. There were many things that needed to be replaced or fixed properly. Even the library pool sticks needed attention.

The fold out couch was the oldest most uncomfortable extra bed I’ve ever slept on in my life. I can feel the bars on the frame and I was up all night now my back hurts. Very disappointing. Also we ran out of TP. Normally staff leaves an extra roll. I also have a another reservation on march 3rd I wish I could cancel now!!!
