陶米西納島度假村(Taumeasina Island Resort)

We stayed here at the end of our 8 day trip and all I can say was it was beautiful. Taumeasina was very busy (Mothers Day weekend) but that didn't stop the wonderful service we were welcomed with lei's and welcome drinks and escorted to our beautiful room (210) perfectly close but far enough away for some peace and quiet. I travelled with my Mother and 2 sisters and wished we had booked here first and stayed for a little bit longer. We also attended the FIA FIA night and that was such a good show and so fun. The only negative was not being having the best seat for FIA FIA night as we were located closer to the back and I think due yo the weather (rainging) they had set up under the shelter which from where we were seating was hard to see most of the show but from what we did see it was a beautiful show. The views are gorgeous! The spa was lovely. The friendliest employees were Junior and Vitale. It would have been nice to have a place to relax where kids aren't allowed ie. one of the pools or restaurants.

Lovely gardens and surroundings. A buggy request was always easy and the drivers were friendly also room service staff were lovely. The only downfalls i experience, upon check in we waited a while for someone to show us where our rooms are. I also emailed to request a shower chair for my elderly mother, the reply was one will be placed in the room a plastic chair. This was not the case when checked in, had to ask again for one. For a big resort, should probably invest in buying proper shower chairs for the elderly/disabled guests. A normal plastic chair like the one we were given for our stay is not a safe option.

Unfortunately for a high class resort that’s quite pricey we’ve stayed in cheaper hotels that were kept in better conditions. The bathrooms didn’t have enough toiletries, the room smelt terrible and just the overall service was not 5 star at all. We spent a week in Fiji before coming to Samoa and the service there far better. Come on guys yous need to lift your game! Constructive criticism.

Bed Linen needs replacing, hair in bathroom sink and shower, noise from bar and band area noisy for adjacent units, food quality average. Bit of a hike if walking to town meaning transport required (not due to the distance but the to the heat for those not used to it), over all underwhelmed but few options in Apia itself.

The property was beautiful but the customer's service could definitely have been much better from the Taumasina team as a whole especially for what you pay to stay at this property. A smile and a friendly greeting goes a long way. Acknowledge your customers & making them feel welcome is key. Thank you to Sharmaine for doing just that. Cindy the entertainer was great as well. We had some minor issues with the room but overall is was good.

A lovely resort with friendly and helpful staff. The service was sometimes a bit slow but otherwise the team was great. The air conditioning unit in our room wasn’t working and despite maintenance attempting to fix it, we spent the whole time without aircon in our bedroom. At checkout we received a half night discount which was welcome, but an offer to change rooms would have been preferable from the beginning.
