Great lobby, good breakfast, clean rooms, and perfect location

Everything was OK until about 12:00 AM when the fire alarm went off four different times between 12 AM and 1 AM you would get right back to sleep and then go off again not sure what was going on. There was no fire the front Dess said it was a mixup.

I got a problem with check in. By ******* my room suppose to be with bath tube. But originally holiday inn don’t have one king bed with bath tube, only two kings bed room. That’s good manager helps me to figure out and switch my room to another one with a bath tube. ******* please fix room details on your website, this is important for me

Let me start by saying that the rooms, staff, and breakfast at this hotel are GREAT! Super easy check-in, very nice staff who gave us some recommendations on places to eat since there isn't anything nearby that's easily walkable. The indoor pool is more like a giant hot tub as it is pretty small, and quite warm. The gym is decent sized for the size of the hotel. Room was well appointed with a king bed, chaise type lounge couch, small table, and plenty of storage space. A/C worked well during our stay and bathroom was also decent sized. The breakfast in the morning is actually quite good, with eggs, sausage and/or bacon, biscuits and gravy, most mornings, along with oatmeal, a pancake machine, juice machine, fresh fruit, cereal, milk, and yogurt also available. The ONLY reason this isn't a 5 star review is because of the location of the hotel, right across the street from the commuter rail trains and also a train transfer station (where they change cars on trains). The noise was every night, and every few hours. Some people we knew who had an even numbered room on the back of the hotel said they didn't have any issues with noise, so if you book this place ask for an even numbered room. The odd numbered rooms are on the street/railroad side. Also, when leaving the hotel, you can only turn right and go down to the next light to do a U-turn to head back the other way. I did see folks do U-turns out of the hotel lot, but guessing that local authorities would frown on that. lol

Where is the basic human decency or compassion? Nowhere to be found at this hotel. I was booked to stay at this hotel for a trip I had been looking forward to for months. Unfortunately, wildfire broke out all over WA, especially close do where I live, and I could not safely travel there by the time I was trying to get on the road. I contacted ********** to see if I could get an exception to the policy that I would be charged the full amount because it was less than 24 before. Their employee was very sympathetic and contacted the hotel twice, but manager Isela showed no humanity and refused to budge on the policy even a little bit. I contacted the hotel directly and talked to her. , She lied to me and said she was bound by the policy of **********. When I revealed to her that they had called her twice and said she was the one who would not budge, she acknowledged she’d talked to them but was not the least bit interested in showing any mercy or compassion. She said she would look into the matter and get back to me. she didn’t. ********** tried to contact her again, and she wouldn’t take their call. They wrote her a letter: ignored I understand the purpose of such a policy, but there are fires raging in the area, and to refuse to make any exceptions and insist on charging for a full night is poor customer service, and entirely inhumane and lacking in compassion. Don’t stay at this moral dump.

Newer facility. Very clean. Nice staff. There is a train station across the street which is audible in the odd number rooms - but not a deal breaker for us and we are noise sensitive. No apparent walkable food options.

My family had a great time there. Stayed for 5 nights. Very safe place. Lots of free parking. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very cooperative. Initially had a difficulty to find a black teabag but later it was resolved with the help of staff.

Room was ok, very small, seemed old. Staff was friendly, easy location right off the freeway and simple check in/out process. Probably wont return.
