馬德望聖殿別墅(The Sanctuary Villa Battambang)

A tired hotel that feels like more of a Homestay and quite unloved . The price is too high for the quality of the hotel . The whole place is not very clean at all . Breakfast however is pretty good but very unorganised .

I stayed there two nights for the trip. For the first night, it wasn’t good at all about the general water to use but the second night was good.

Hôtel vétuste, chambre à rénover, manque de confort. Non contractuel!

Sehr nettes Hotel etwas außerhalb von Battambang. Schöner Pool, unser Zimmer hatte alles was man braucht (sehr bequeme Betten, Moskitonetze), Größe ist ok. Nettes Restaurant, in dem es das Frühstück gibt. Dazu sehr entspannte A**osphäre. Personal angenehm zurückhaltend und sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Lage etwas außerhalb auch schön entspannt. Etwa 15 Minute Fußweg in die Innenstadt. Gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Vielen Dank.

A wonderful garden, nice rooms and bathrooms, good restaurant and very polite and efficient staff. The hotel is a quiet oasis far from the noisy Battambang and the ratio price quality is perfect. A perfect place in Cambodia

Personale cordiale e molto disponibile! La posizione dell’hotel non è centralissima considerando che la strada per arrivare al centro è dissestata è completamente buia la notte. Con 3 minuti in tuk tuk si arriva in centro…struttura incantevole! Consigliato

The Sanctuary has the great a**osphere of a hidden secret garden with a pool in the middle surrounded by bungalow style rooms. The rooms are very spacious but would need a bit of a facelift, including the change of some furniture and that would really elevate the marketability of the hotel. The staff were super nice, they organized a boat ride for the next day very late in the evening. It didn’t even feel right to complain about the fact that they forgot our promised packed breakfast the next morning.

The pictures are over 10 years old. Please take time to investigate BEFORE paying for a room. The hotel is half the size shown, the rooms have not been refreshed in many years. The bathroom is dirty, small, and the toilet and shower room is on broken cement on a downward slope. The mattress is very hard so if stiff, hard mattress is your choice, it may work for you. Just very, very difficult for any person with disabilities.
