利萬騰旅館(Levanten Hostel)

The hotel was a decent stop whilenawaiting the new year countdown and as a transit area. It is walking distance to local attractions and the new year countdown parties. Only set back is you need to walk 3 flights up at least. Toilets are clean and the staffs are very helpful. Basic homey feeling.

Excellent location with kind staff and clean facilities and convenient kitchen.

I had a reservation there for 2 nights in April this year. I did a booking through hostelworld. Unfortunately the hostel didn't meet my expectation. Pictures on the website shows totally other place than in reality. The hostel is very, very bad. The female dorm was located in the upper floor. It looked like there was living one man who is working in the hostel and he just moved out when I arrived (there were his jackets and clothes). The room was dirty, the roof looked like it's leaking when it's rainy. I'm adding pictures as a prove + print screen of the female dorm on hostelworld's website. I regret I didn't took pictures of bathroom which was just disgusting. I rejected to stay in this room. I required to moved me somewhere, finally I stayed in a one room person which I guess, it also didn't looked like on pictures. Firstly they asked me to pay the difference between a night in the dorm vs private room but later they left it, because of I decided to stay just for a night (even if I had a booking for 2 nights). I fully feel dissapointed about this place! Just a single positive was a guy who worked in the night shift - he was really nice. More dissapointed I feel about hostelworld website where the rating is pretty high for this place!

I recently stayed at a hotel that left much to be desired. The overall cleanliness was appalling, with grimy surfaces and questionable stains. To add to the discomfort, the absence of a bathroom inside the room was inconvenient and disappointing. The shared facilities were no better, showcasing a lack of maintenance. Definitely not a place I'd recommend for a comfortable stay.

Istanbul Taksim Meydanına çok yakın bir konumda olan Levanten Hostel Cihangir Semtinin Pürtelaj Sokağındadır... Taksim Meydana yürüyerek 3 dakika , Kabataş sahiline 3 dakika, isterseniz yine yürüyerek Beşiktaş sahili ve çarşısına 22 dakika da ulaşabiliyorsunuz... Levanten Hostel'e kapıdan girdiğiniz de hemen içeride mor renkte olan berjer ve koltuklar bulunuyor, çok sıcak ve ev ortamında dekore edilmiş lobisi bulunmakta, ortak kullanım alanları olan mutfak, tuvaletler, duş alanları sürekli temizleniyor. Dorm odalarda ranzalar bulunuyor , ranzalı odadan da fotoğraf çekip yüklemek isterdim fakat uyuyanlar olduğu için ve kişilerin izni olmadan onların da fotoğraflarını paylaşmak hoş olmayacağını düşündüğümden ötürü şimdilik sizlere sadece boş olan kısımlardan fotoğraflar paylaştım.....mutfak ***et temiz ve hijyenik bir şekilde duruyor, kullanıma açık ve konaklayan herkes bulaşıklarını kendisi yıkayarak komün bir yaşam şeklinde iç içe ve bir birine saygılı tutumdalar..Odalar ***et temiz, çarşaf ve yastık kılıfları diğer hosteller de ki gibi delik deşik değil.... Çalışanları güler yüzlü ve yardım sever kişiler...

O gün Resepsiyonda olan personel çok ilgisiz ve kabaydı. Aralık ayıp olmasına rağmen odada ısıtıcı hiçbir cihaz çalışmıyordu ve oda buz gibiydi - sabaha kadat bu böyle devam etti.

Had a room with 3 beds. It was clean and comfortable and very close to takseem. Bathroom is shared with others. Not bad if you are on the budget.

This hostel is running down , it’s not saturable at all . Needs an urgent renovation .

Paylaşımlı odada kaldık. Odalar bakımsız, odadaki koltuk muhtemelen yıllardır hiç temizlenmemiş. Ranzalar çok eski, ranzaların perdesi yok. Ortak tuvalet ve banyonun kapısını içeriden açamıyorsunuz, kapının kolu yok. O yüzden tam olarak kapatmadan kullanmanız gerekiyor. Bina çok eski ve bakımsız. Tek iyi yanı Taksim'e yakın olması ama meydana ulaşmak için çok dik yokuşlar tırmanmanız gerekiyor.
