Great hotel above a nice pub with easy access to clubs and restaurants in *** Village. Friendly staff!! Stairs to the room are very steap and rooms quite small and can get quite hot!

Lovely little room in the Chinese quarter in Birmingham. Very comfy bed and good wifi. A very good option if you’re conscious of keeping on a budget - probably the best option.

Nice pub, friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Absolutely terrible nights sleep. Our room was on the ground floor next to the door which let every guest in and out of the hotel. Every time someone went through that door it slammed shut. Also the noise from the very busy road outside was terrible. So would I stay again - definitely not.

A cramped and basic room above a pub at the edge of Birmingham city centre. It served its purpose as somewhere safe and dry to spend the night but it was very overpriced at £80 for just the one night. The bathroom is so cramped that a tall person might have considerable problems sitting down on the toilet given how close it is to the sink. The door between the stairs & the top floor corridor is a heavy fire door that makes an almighty bang when left to close on its own - not pleasant for whomever is in a room close to that door! A sign should be added to ask guests to close the door gently to avoid disturbing other guests. The main highlight of the hotel (aside from location) is the awesome shower which is really powerful.

Du får hva du betaler for. Wellington er definitivt et hotell for den med et moderat budsjett. Det er et ur-engelsk hotell, med rom i andre og tredje etasje over en pub - og en indisk restaurant. Det siste medførte til tider en ganske sterk lukt av curry på rommet. Rommet var forøvrig knøttlite, men senga var god. Badet var knøttlite, men vannet i dusjen var varmt. Vasken var tett, men ble ordnet i løpet av et døgn når personalet ble gjort oppmerksom på det. Det som trakk oppholdet opp var atmosfæren og vennligheten fra personalet. Selv om fasilitetene var ordinære, var gjestfriheten stor. Og det betydde faktisk ganske mye for helhetsopplevelsen. Jeg likte stedet. Og beliggenheten er sentral.

Was a really lovely stay. The room was large and had everything we needed. Very comfy beds. Did get a little bit too hot but we just opened our windows. Was nice that there was a separate entrance without having to go through the pub and a key box to check out. Great location in my opinion, very close walk to everything. Would definitely stay again as was such good value for money. Was nice to have little amenities as well.
