科隆飯店(Hotel Krone)

Für eine Nacht ist der Preis den wir bezahlt haben und dass was wir vorgefunden haben schon unverschämt hoch. Erstens wurde nichts über eine Baustelle auf unserem Stock und neben unserem Zimmer an der Rezeption beim Einchecken erwähnt, vor unserem Zimmer lagen Holzlatten, Metallstützen, Leitern und ein Rollwagen, wirklich ein nicht schöner Anblick wenn man in einem 4 Sterne Hotel Übernachtet. Im Zimmer zur Toilette eine Tür an der man sich ernsthaft Verletzen hätte könne, Holzsplitter hingen weg weil man wahrscheinlich mit Gewalt an der Tür ran gegangen ist. Die Wand am Bett ist Voller Flecken nicht schön anzuschauen. Für mich kein 4 Sterne Hotel, auch ungeschultes unaufmerksames Personal.

Das Hotel Krone hat eine perfekte Lage, super nah zum Bahnhof und super nah in die Altstadt (nur über die Brücke). Unser Zimmerwunsch wurde berücksichtigt, was uns sehr gefreut hat! Das Zimmer war geräumig, bequeme Betten, Safe und Kaffeemaschine sind vorhanden. Einen Kühlschrank gibt es jedoch nicht im Zimmer. Ganz toll ist auch die Sauna im 4. OG mit herrlicher Dachterrasse. Die Sauna öffnet erst um 18 Uhr (das ist noch eine wichtige Info), auf Anfrage darf man aber schon etwas früher rein. Frühstück bietet auch für Vegetarier:innen viele Optionen (so gibt es zum Beispiel auch Hummus). Einziger Abstrich beim Frühstück ist der Kaffee: Leider aus dem Vollautomaten und kein Barista-Kaffee. Das Hotel Krone bietet auch einen Raum für Fahrräder, der über Nacht abgeschlossen wird. Wir können das Hotel Krone auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

This is my 12th stay in this hotel and you would think they recognise you by now, but now chance; which is not a problem because the rest of the hotel makes up for this. The location is just perfect; everyone seems to agree on that. The staff is not particularly warm but very much ok and there is nothing to complain about if you do not require to be pet. The room they gave me this time was quite big. They have very different types of rooms, so make sure you check first if you want spacious (like I got this time) or standard. Beds in all of them are comfortable. After all that is what counts. Breakfast is nothing but great; everything you need in a straight forward hotel is available. It was winter, I take sauna in Winters. Their Sauna area is rather new (I remember it was not there when I first visited years ago) and it is one of the reasons I stay in this place. Pricing is a challenge. After all it is Tubingen and not a 5* in Frankfurt City (which would be similar priced). But there is really no alternative to this wonderful place and the the question as to whether its worth it needs to be answered with alternatives - which there are none. So its ok in my opinion. I would recommend to go there anytime.

Das zentral gelegene Traditionshaus bietet eine ruhige Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem Servicepersonal. Das „Familienzimmer“ war übersichtlich, sauber und mit Schreibtisch, Sofa und Tisch ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Gerne wieder

The Hotel Krone is a fabulous hotel in the wonderful city of Tübingen. It's not exaggerated to affirm that it's the best hotel in that city. At first sight upon entering the building for the start of a stay at the hotel one feels impressed owing to the tasty decoration and other elements contributing to create a pleasant atmosphere. That feeling is supported by the wellcome one receives from the personnel working at the front desk, particularly if the new coming guest has the luck and the pleasure to be attended by Loreena, as it was my case. The hotel lies quite close to the city historical center, in a rather quiet place. The main entrance is in Uhlandstraße, a street with not much traffic. In that where the building right hand side façade is there isn't hardly any traffic. Behind the building there is a inner court, a part of which is destined to the hotel parking. In order to get to the historical center one needs to go across a bridge over the river Neckar form which very nice views can be enjoyed. I stayed in that hotel at the end of August last year and I liked so much both the hotel end the city that I returned there twice, in October 2021 and in May 2022, staying of course at the same hotel. The rooms I was allocated respectively each time are very nice and comfortable, not only as regards the beds but likewise as far as everything inside is concerned. The bed is no doubt very comfy, the mattress having the right toughness for assuring a good rest. Besides, the room is very peaceful so that I heard no noise during my stays at the hotel. The whole hotel is a calm place, the building being apparently soundproof. The breakfast is abundant and excellent. Everything offered for that meal is of the utmost good quality. The fruits are fresh and varied. It's obvious that the pastry is usually of recent manufacture insofar as, for instance, the croissants are still sometimes a bit warm. The crammed meat and the eggs are likewise very tasty. That breakfast powered me all day up until dinner time. Besides, the breakfast room is clean and pleasant, with the adequate light. The music is there none the less somewhat disturbing. Its quality is rather bad and therefore its suppression would be much appreciated. All the staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. In any case, Loreena's good manners and service are outstanding. She is wellcoming and sincere, and her kindness and friendliness could be placed above the average. The other staff members are also very kind and efficient. One of them helped me the first time I lodged in the hotel to take the suitcase out of the car. The room maids are also kind and concientious workers. On the occasion of my second stay, upon my departure, one of them helped me on her own initiative take a part of my baggage to the car and put the big suitcase into the trunk. I have every time been provided with a table lamp fit for working with the appropriate light. The hotel is in general very clean and very well decorated. Th

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen direkt an der Alstadt. Man kann gut im Hof parken, kostet pro Tag 17€. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer direkt über die hp gebucht und bekam ein DZ Upgrade., Fruhstückbuffet gut und reichhaltig. . Personal sehr nett und kompetent. Ich würde jederzeit wieder das Hotel wählen.

Hotel in buona posizione centrale ma molto silenzioso. Camera spaziosa molto luminosa e pulita. Comodo letto con materassi morbidi. Tazza del wc in bagno separato con finestra é un’ottima e comoda idea. Buona colazione. Chiedete della camera numero dieci, ha doppia esposizione di finestre.

The best part of our hotel stay at the Hotel Krone was the location. Only a few steps from the Neckar River and Altstadt, everything was quickly accessible. The wellness area was very nice with a beautiful roof top terrace for relaxing. The hotel staff was EXCELLENT. The rooms were quite small with no mini fridge. The bathroom had a tub/shower combo which might be difficult for older folks. The breakfast was ample but not memorable. For 250 Euros a night, I would have expected a bit more value.

Nice hotell - good rooms - Nice personell. We missed fridge in the rooms - and the air cond could have been colder - but overall highly recommended. Parking (not free but good) and breakfast plus.
