We loved the location! Shopping at Mall of the Americas was great and you could not beat the nightly price- in Canadian funds! The staff was very helpful. This is a budget hotel, and it is located near the train- allowing us to park and ride to our downtown sporting events. It was an older hotel, but a great area if you need the airport!

The room itself was clean and staff was friendly, but the stay was terrible. There were people coming and going all night long, got very little sleep. There were people loitering around the parking lot throughout the day and evening. At 2 in the morning someone mistook our room for theirs and spent a few minutes trying to use their key to get in. Staff is completely enclosed in plexiglass, which just added to the sketchiness of the area. Would not stay here in the future or recommend others to do so.

Nice enough hotel & room. Easy enough to get around from there. Negatives would be the strange entrance to the hotel that is locked day and night, so you have to use your room key just to get into the lobby. Really? The other was that my room door was right in front of the ice machine and my seemingly weird next door neighbor was noisily filling buckets of ice constantly day and all night. It never ended during my entire stay. How could anyone possibly use so much ice, and what could such vast quantities of ice be needed for?

The person at the front desk is unprofessional and don’t give you any information about where things are or breakfast time, he just gives you the key and you own your own. The gym only had two treadmills and only one barely work and the equipment is from the 60’s, I’m even surprised the one with the big duck tape on it work. Location is great, but the poor service makes it terrible and the thin walls, you can heard everyone else.
