聖摩立茲博物館飯店(Hotel Museo San Moritz)

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Gold Museum, and an easy walk to the rest of La Candelaria district. The reception staff are friendly. There is a nice cafe attached to the hotel, but it is apparently closed on Sundays. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Bogotá is called "the fridge" by Colombians, with good reason. It is cold! My hotel room was quite cold, and there was no way to heat the space. The bathroom was especially cold, and there was no hot water in the shower. Even when I turned the water heater to "Maximum" and I turned the shower knob as far to the left as it would go (as I was instructed) the water was only lukewarm at best. So that made for a very unpleasant shower experience. The tiny elevator right next to my room was incredibly loud, and it shook the building when in use. I was woken up several times by the noise when guests returned late at night. WiFi signal was spotty and weak. My stay at this hotel was rather uncomfortable and disappointing.

I had a booking with this hotel for one night on the 5th November. They confirmed but then changed the booking to the 6th a few hours before my arrival. I raised it with them but they insisted I be the one to cancel the booking. Since the booking was passed the time when I could cancel for free, I then had to claim back the fees and risk them refusing. I was then forced to search for another hotel at very short notice.

Muy lindo! Hotel chico , pero cómodo . Excelente el trato , a la llegada y a la vuelta . Solo estuvimos una noche , está re buen ubicado para recorrer el centro histórico de bogota , con stop over allí. El desayuno acotado , pero de buenísima calidad , exquisito el café ! Lo recomiendo

Fui de viaje a Bogotá del 24 al 26 de agosto con mi perro Othello y lo recomiendo sin duda alguna. Primero, debo decir que el servicio es muy bueno, siempre hay una atención y una solución a la pregunta que uno pueda tener. Segundo, la habitación muy amplia, limpia, organizada y los detalles extra que no faltaron (adecuaron una mesa y una silla para poder trabajar en la habitación). Tercero, el desayuno y el almuerzo son geniales y el ambiente es sin igual. No hubo restricción con mi mascota y se sintió también muy bien recibido. Es un hotel-museo que por estar tan estratégicamente ubicado en el centro histórico de Bogotá, permite llegar a cualquier lugar o museo a la mayor brevedad. Queda en mi corazón y mi mente y volvería a quedar allí sin ningún problema.
