We were unable to get a larger room due to no availability, but it wasn't a huge issue as we weren't hanging out in the room much. We had a queen bed -- quite comfortable, and although it is a small room it is quite adequate. Downside was the restaurant was closed - again! But no indication on website. It had go reviews and we were looking forward to strolling down for breakfast. Additionally, although there are not refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms, it would be nice if there was at least ONE microwave in the coffee lounge as I twice dumped food at a restaurant as there was no way to re-heat it.

I booked a room to surprise my husband for our anniversary. Every time we go to Boulder City, we always say we should stay there. The hotel is so quaint and full of charm. The rooms are nice & clean and the beds are super comfortable. So much so, that we looked for the tag on the bed so we could maybe order one in the future. We also had a great time at Cleveland's that evening. The espresso & tiramisu martinis are to die for!

I really wish we had a chance to spend more than one night! Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a quaint little town that has so much to offer. The hotel itself had a nice little museum about the history of the Hoover Dam. There was also a fireplace in the lobby that made it nice and cozy. We ordered dinner and ate in our room. After dinner, we walked to a cute little candy store. The next day we walked to the Southwest Diner for breakfast, it was excellent! It was a convenient drive to the Hoover Dam.

The hotel was a historical building of 1930s decor, and with its own tiny museum. The feel to it was vintage like and was nice. The staff was friendly. The rooms were really small and bathroom was even smaller. If you are over 6'2" and 250 lb you will have hard time going into the room and the bathroom. The sound block was almost non existent in the hotels, you could hear people and such running etc. I heard a group of girls running and giggling above me just to find out that this was a 2 story building with no roof access and I was on the 2nd floor in the middle of the night but well, I hope they were not ghosts

We enjoyed the quaintness of the property. Old style hotel. Appreciated the 24-hr coffee service, fire in the main lobby, place to work while your spouse is still sleeping, ability to walk to a few dining locations (Dillinger's, Coffee Cup). Municipal golf course nearby (was able to get on early in the morning without a tee time as a single). Lack of convenient power outlets could be an issue for some (older hotel).

Quaint 1930's era hotel. Seemed clean and well maintained. Room and bathroom were smaller than a modern hotel. There was no breakfast service contrary to Travelocity information. The hotel eating area is undergoing renovation and will not be available until later this year.

Boulder City is a friendly quiet town, a world away from nearby Las Vegas 20 miles up the road. Central to the town is this National Register landmark hotel. With an up, down and now back up history, the hotel is interesting (it has lots of old pics of the dam construction and a dedicated museum), comfortable and above all good value. Some of the rooms have been done up in period style. Mine, 206 was not one of these and was ordinary but with enough room, a comfy bed, a shower with plentiful hot water, excellent and quiet aircon, the wifi worked. If I had to have a drawback there were practically no sockets for plugging things in. Close by are eateries and bars (at night the trees and streets are lit up with strung lights - all very twee). Didn't eat in the hotel because the place to have breakfast in town is the nearby Coffee Club Cafe (which is a community hub from 6am). As long as you are not expecting Las Vegas glitz this is an excellent choice (you can even do Grand Canyon air tours from the local airport a mile away).

Let’s be clear that this is a historic building. Manage your expectations tor a bit of cramped bathroom comfort, but it’s worth it. The staff were so friendly. The bed was so comfortable. The museum was charming. The town, with its vintage antique stores and motel signs, was downright delightful. Boulder City was a great place to stay so we were able to get to the Hoover Dam before the Vegas rush happened. 10/10 would stay again.
