聖克魯斯萬怡飯店(Courtyard Santa Cruz)

Never had to write this bad of a review. Terrible experience for the what I spent on. First front reception impression was bad. 2 receptionists, one on the phone helping a lady with an issue. She seemed very stressed. The gentleman helping the rest of us making a line. When it was my turn, my card wouldnt go through. When the lady receptionist was done with the call she seemed like she was about to get a mental breakdown. He then decided to try my card on her side and was successfully processed. He didn’t explain or gave me any instructions about the key. Key needed to work the elevators and power in the rooms I had to figure it out on my own. He Didn’t offer or explained parking, I went back after we unloaded our stuff drove around and found out there was no place to park. The receptionist pretty much just processed my card. I stayed 3 nights and no one went into my room to take trash or pick up the dirty towels. Only thing they did was put a set of clean towels the night before my check out day and that’s about it. I was given an accessible room. I did not ask for one. A light on a night stand were unplugged. Found multiple lotto tickets inside the pull out bed. Toilet paper handle was broken. By the way…..what kind of bar closes at 8? The bartender didn’t seem professional or welcoming. When checking out I was asked how I wanted my receipt. On paper or email. I told her I rather get an email. I checked out around 8am and it’s 435pm and I haven’t received my email. The only people I will say were amazing at their job were the valet guys. They were friendly, helpful and did their job.

Fantastic place to stay. New facilities that is very well done. Parking below the hotel is convenient. Rooms are very nice. Staff is very l accommodating. Great value for the money!

Janice at the front desk was super nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable! Would highly recommend staying here, just a short walk to the boardwalk. The only downside is the parking, valet only and it was super busy checking out and they understaffed the lady working there today pulled up the wrong car do the people in front of us! I’m sure it’s not like this all the time and they do charge $25 a night. But other than that it’s was a great experience!

I bet front desk staff at a Motel 6 has better attitude than at this place, you’ll at the very least deal with someone who greets you and doesn't mumble their words or shows attitude for asking to repeat themselves. As for parking, you either do Valet or park out in the sketchy looking streets.

Valet employee was rude and not helpful. I was told that there was parking, but only if valet was used. Elevators were slow and made weird noises. Staff wasn’t friendly. The man that helped me in valet was condescending and rude.

I liked this property, the only problem is we had no hot water. It was lukewarm our entire stay which made for freezing and no fun at shower time. And the parking for the night is pretty expensive, definitely try to find other parking if possible.

Room facing the Main Street was noisy from party goers late at night. Rooms are clean and spacious. Loved the convenience of location being a block away from the Boardwalk and having breakfast and dining area. That was good for families. Underground parking lot on the small side so if your car is parked close to the elevators, the valet will just hand you your key.
