How this hotel got through an AA inspection is beyond me. It is not a 4* hotel. Breakfast times are much shorter (and earlier) than advertised. They lock the front doors at night, and it took ten minutes to get someone to come and open them, as they weren't responding to the door bell. The standard of service is terrible. The hotel lacks good quality facilities. There are many other much nicer hotels in Bournemouth you should use instead.

We booked 2 night for celebrating the 29th anniversary. The room number was103 on the first floor, facing the wall with a narrow walk way, people could easily access for delivery. Therefore, a big adhesive was placed on the bottom of the windows, it was risky if someone was trying to break in. Window couldn't be opened. We have asked the night shift receptionist to upgrade our rooms, he told we have to pay £50 each person every night(total: £200 extra) if we want to upgrade. The receptionist was very kind when we asked to borrow a usb cable to charge the fan for cooling the temperature. The room looked very old but still in good clean. The deal was including breakfast, but we were only allowed to use the restaurant at 7.30 am. Parking spaces was located in BIC and we have to pay £22 extra. Bournemouth is a nice place to visit, we will definitely visit Bournemouth again bot the hotel, not anymore.

state of room bed not king size as described was double bed, menu mostly fish had to find somewhere to eat out side of hotel, ran out of yogurts and marmalade, carparking a joke hotel very dated don't no how this hotel is 4 star!

Very dated. Incredibly uncomfortable. My room overlooked a night club. No sound proofing at all. They might as well have been in my room.

We had a fantastic two nights stay at this hotel. The service was excellent - delicious food, brilliant varieties for breakfast - just to note not all hotels like this one offer inclusive breakfast and that was one of the reason we stayed here. The seafood was top notch and cooked to perfection - had the seabass and my partner had seabream. The room was of excellent quality and comfortable to stay in - very clean. I would definately stay here again and I would like to recommend others to do so as well. Just to add we were upgraded without asking to one of the seaview rooms which was a nice gesture as it was my partners birthday. Signed off with excellent customer service.

Booked two rooms for a one night with my partner and two teenagers. The rooms were next to one another and really spacious. Our room was a little cold but when we told reception they boosted the heating. The location was brilliant for bournemouth town centre and really close to the pier and the beach. We parked in the car park right opposite for £14 for 24 hours which was ok. Breakfast was ok, had a choice from the menu, no real complaints. Would recommend this hotel and would definately return. The staff were very friendly and found the hotel to be clean. Thank you for a lovely stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Park Central last night! So convenient for the BIC! We literally had to walk over the road and we were there! The staff were so friendly and very helpful. The bed was really comfortable- the best night’s sleep I have had for ages! Breakfast was included and this was freshly cooked - a really lovely hotel to stay in!

Good value for money. Clean. Well decorated. Handy parking in the BIC across the road. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Very handy for BIC and Pavilion.
