莫頓因馬什白鹿皇家飯店(The White Hart Royal, Moreton-in-Marsh, Cotswolds)

Excellent location. The bus stop for buses to Burton on the water, stow on the wold and Stratford upon Avon is just one-minute walk. They are the only hotel which I stay in the UK provides slippers! And I love their heated towel racks! Room for improvement: One lady taking breakfast order is not friendly or helpful. And the food they served was a bit salty for me. But taste was personal. My partner says he likes their English breakfast.

We loved our stay, the place was clean and the housekeeping was splendid. The staff were warm and welcoming too. Loved our stay! The breakfast was also top notch. We had eggs Ben and English breakfast, loved it thet it came with a black pudding

For the first time I had to book an accessible room following a fall and it was excellent. A bonus was that we arrived early but both our rooms were ready. Rooms very warm and welcoming ( it was November) Had a lovely lunch by the roaring wood fire. The Hotel is a**ospheric. Full of history and right in the middle of the town .

The room was a good size for one and the bathroom was huge. Breakfast (included) was also great and the service was outstanding. The accommodation felt quite tired overall and the bathroom was very basic. I couldn't get the TV working at all. The main problems I had were lack of parking and most of all, the room was absolutely freezing cold. I kept the blinds down, secondary glazing closed, bathroom door shut and radiator on full blast but it was still very cold. No space to have a portable radiator out safely as well as my suitcase. Overall, good location but I probably wouldn't stay again

The property has amazing character and history. The staff were all lovely and happy to give tips on places to go and transport links if needed. I would stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

We had a very lovely stay at the White Hart Royal! The inn is a 5-10 minute walk from the Moreton in Marsh train station. It is in the High Street directly across from a pharmacy, a grocery store, a cheese shop. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, providing connection to nearby villages. There is parking along the street out front. The High Street is lined with charity shops, a gift store, an antique store, several coffee and tea shops. Very nearby are a hardware store and a laundry. The staff at the White Hart Royal were incredibly friendly and helpful, welcoming us and seeing to all our needs. The food was amazing! We had breakfast each day and managed to try most everything on the menu. We had dinner there one night and were very pleased with the quality and the service. The town is ideally located for hikers who are seeing the Cotswolds on foot, as well as those who are driving or using public transit to get around. For us, it was a quiet vacation with a little of each.

Our room was beautiful and sheep themed which was nice given the area. All the rooms are a bit different. They had some unique art in the walls reading Charles I. Staff were lovely, we had the pleasure of dealing with a few of them. Restaurant was fantastic. Really liked the decor in the dining room and bar area. We could appreciate the history of this place. I do think it is the prettiest building along the *****, especially with their hanging baskets. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

To me, a Canadian, this is a quintessential small town English experience. Service was very good, food was great and set in a huge old hotel that dates back to at least the early 1600s. They don't know exactly when it was built. As a very old building, it has steep stairs, narrow rambling hallways and delightful nooks and crannies with a gorgeous guest salon. Delightful!

We spent two nights at the White Hart Royal. The service was excellent as was the food in the restaurant. The room, though small was comfortable and well furnished. Parts of the corridors and doors could do with freshening up. It was conveniently located and worth a visit for the history alone.
