Had an amazing time with my mate, lovely hotel, nice and clean and really friendly staff. Perfect location to stay if you travel to Brighton. Thank you!

I really don't understand why their rating is so low… We only stayed one night, unfortunately, and everything was great. As soon as I made the reservation of the room by booking they sent me a message about the check in times (because I had asked to enter earlier). They were super quick in the service and all questions answered. Comfortable overcome room, a bit stuffy on hot days. The TV has all the streams you need for a good rest. Right in front of the beach, continental breakfast was already included, everything clean and with plenty of option. I'll be back for sure.

The hotel was close to the Old Market theatre for a show we had booked to see. The closeness to the beach & shops was a bonus. The continental breakfast was reasonable & varied. The bedding and towels were nice & clean. Disliked · The room was small & not very clean. It had dirty, stained & ripped curtains, damaged and worn furniture. Dirty carpets, which were threadbare with sticky stains in places. There was significant damage to the plinth around the shower base. The upper window pane was cracked, and although the large sash window could be opened, it could not be locked when closed, so we didn't feel safe/secure. especially as there was scaffolding right outside the window, which went from the ground right up to our balcony. Because of the scaffolding and balcony damage, it meant that we were not allowed to use the balcony. The bathroom macerator was very noisy in our room, but we could also hear the macerator from other rooms going off in the middle of the night. The bathroom sink plug did not work, so it was impossible to fill the sink. The TV aerial cable was badly worn and had to be fiddled with to get the TV to work. The shower head fi**ent would not hold the shower head in place, so it kept dropping down while having a shower. At 2am, we heard someone constantly shouting & hammering on the front door just below our room. The front door was locked & they were trying to get in, but as there was nobody in attendance at reception, the shouting and hammering on the door continued for over 20 minutes.

Stayed her for 1 night over a weekend with friends in a triple room, we booked last minute and I can say I was very impressed. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Brighton, it's a minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the NCP car park where we parked our car. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, the room we had had everything you needed, it even had a fridge, plenty of tea, coffee etc on tap. Beds were very comfortable. We had a continental breakfast included which was nice and what you would expect of this kind of breakfast. All staff we came in contact with were pleasant and friendly. When we come back to Brighton, we will definitely be staying here again, thanks for a great stay.

Lovely little find. Stayed for one night in a triple room. I liked the decor of the room and it was clean. Beds and pillows were comfy. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to the shops and pier and a stones throw from the beach.

I stayed at this delightful hotel from 17th to 19th February, with my daughter and her partner. I love Georgian architecture so this old, Georgian building was perfect for me. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I slept very well. The breakfast is good and plenty to eat for me, being vegan. I would certainly return.

Room 1a was a small double in need of a deep clean. However this was not a distraction on the friendly staff and reasonable breakfast - a basic continental - but filled a hole. Great location but Brighton is flooded with hotels so this is not a unique selling point. It was adequate for a nights sleep but to be honest the hotel needs a massive refurb and a review on cleaning (in all the corners). Nice coffee by the way.

We stayed for one night at this hotel. It is only a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Brighton along the front. The staff let us check in early and they stored our bags when we checked out the next day, both of which was very helpful. The hotel looks like it has had some work done recently to improve it, the showers looked new , new shiny taps and mastic around the sinks. Parts of the hotel still look a little tired. The beds were comfortable and clean. Our room (10) was at the top of the hotel , there were 8 flights of stairs so would not be any good for anyone unfit, go for a lower number for fewer stairs. Breakfast is included - croissants, toast, cereal, ham, cheese, fruit and yogurts, tea and coffee. We paid £65 for a twin room for the night with breakfast, which for central Brighton is very good value. A lovely traditional seaside bed and breakfast which I would recommend.

Very clean. Nice white linen and towels. Shampoo and shower gel. Teas, coffees and biscuits in the room. Polite and welcoming staff. Great position in Brighton. Good value, as 4 friends shared a family room. Very good selection for breakfast.
