布萊頓攝政大飯店(Regency Hotel)

The hotel is more like a B&B but great location Staff very nice and friendly Comfortable room Nice old style house

Got a free upgrade from sister hotel so we took it. Lovely view and room was ok but bathroom was disgusting as it had not been cleaned in god knows how long. Had to clean the basin before I brushed my teeth and got ***** washes because I didn't fancy using the shower. The floor was covered in thick dust and lots of hair. If you can't do stairs then this is the wrong place for you. We had to climb 50 stairs to our room. Don't know if breakfast was an option because we never got told anything. The tea tray has plenty of tea, coffee, milk and brown sugar but no white sugar or sweetener.

I'd really like to score it 3.5 - fairly good. Room 4 is en suite with sea view, contains antique looking writing desk with ample drawers, chair, tv, comfy double bed, and more than enough towels. A notice ruefully admits the plumbing is commensurate with a 220 year old building. The water pipes from the higher floors go through ones bathroom, so if these guests wash (or use the loo?) in the small hours you might be woken up. Same if upper floor folks make noise at uncivilised hours. My only substantive criticism is poor communication. Due to circumstances resulting from an injury, I could only book two days in advance. I tried to ring them to book and discuss breakfast options, but at each attempt the phone rang briefly and cuts off. So I reluctantly opened an account with *********** and booked through them, sans breakfast. Half an hour before leaving my house for the train I checked my emails and was aghast to learn of a problem with my debit card. Panic stricken, I made three attempts to ring them but the same thing happened. Fortunately the problem was resolved by the time I arrived, but not the most relaxing start to a holiday. But then again, over the decades I've had far worse experiences in ropey Brighton.

Everything was in bad conditions and old

Booked a table but had to queue up outside disgusting.then we were taken to a seat at the front both doors kept opening it was so cold,food was good service good , o condiments on table. I think they try to fit too many people in more than they can manage very uncomfortable

Is a old house converted and give it a old English touch and was nice 👍 , of course all facilities are new compare to the building. I love shower and enjoy it.

Good location but more B&B than hotel. Good security on doors (not given in Brighton experiences) but (double) room and bed were small. Hot day but window opened onto fire escape so felt unable to leave it open so room became very hot and airless.

Lovely and comfortable. Great location and amazing view

Stay was nice however, the kettle didn't work and the shower only gave out cold water (top floor, room 5). Other than that it was good, bit dated but sea view was lovely.
