格羅夫莊園飯店(Manor of Groves Hotel)

Didn't realise pool for kids is from 3pm weekdays. Got charged again after prepaid my room. Other than that it's a comfortable stay with spacious room and bed. Free parking. Perfect temperature of the whirlpool and swimming pool.

Great hotel tucked away in the countryside within a reasonable distance to Stanstead- pool is good as is the new steam room - jacuzzi could he hotter

Quiet and lovely atmosphere

Our room was a four poster room, bed was lovely but beware, four poster bed rooms overlook the carpark and are also above a banqueting suite. Upon check in, we asked reception if there were any functions that night and if it were going to be noisy as if so, could they move us to another part of the hotel now to avoid any potential issues as this was our first break away from our young daughter. They said it would be fine as there were no other functions planned. We went for a swim at the really nice leisure facilities and on our way back saw things being set up for the evening. We asked a different receptionist who said she was surprised we had not been told this upon booking but that there was a sixthform leavers do that night but not to worry, it was in another part of the hotel. It wasn't and the noise from the exit and carpark kept us awake most of the night. We had no sleep as Reception on two occasions chose to lie to us. Gym was great, breakfast poor.

Very noisy guests all night. Watching prob, drinking at 4am on a Wednesday! Also staff uninterested and room very dirty with holes in the wall

Had a lovely stay at this hotel, rooms were comfy. Leisure centre is nice to relax, but if you want extra make sure you book well in advance, (we missed out). Restaurant could do with updating there menu, very little choice, we had to get a delivery one night, online bar menu says different to the one in the actual hotel, very little choice on that as well.

Very pleasant stay at Golf Hotel. Plenty of space. Country feeling. Very good facilities- large swimming pool and jacuzzi and good steam room - didn’t use the sauna. Rooms comfortable and individually heated. Bath with lots of hot water- nice toiletries. Good WiFi, TV with freeview, Kettle with tea and coffe. Large bed. Did not have breakfast. We did 2 walks while there although weather was a bit rainy. There is a good Indian restaurant on the edge of the hotel grounds called Chandini.

We had problems finding the entrance. We ended up at the function room and the telephone signal was too bad for me to phone reception to ask where I was. Better lighting at the entrance would help. We got to the rather pricey breakfast rather late and it had been there for a very long time. We had some lovely fresh fried eggs on request. The swimming pool was wonderful.

Amazing venue for any event, had a great night at this hotel and would definitely recommend to everyone.
