特拉華大道豪宅飯店(The Mansion on Delaware Avenue)

The Mansion is a great historic boutique bed and breakfast in downtown Buffalo. The Mansion itself is gorgeous with amazing detail in woodwork, a very unique place to stay if you want something other than a typical hotel stay. The rooms are average- bed, tv. The bathrooms need updating and a deep clean. Cozy robes and slippers provided. The Mansion offers a breakfast- you choose one of two options. Both are good but small portions and no bacon/sausage/toast offered. The bar area is great- one free drink per night. Would be nice if some late night food could be offered at the bar with drinks. The staff get to know you and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Cade and and Danny are terrific! Parking across the street is convenient. The Mansion is centrally located in downtown to bars, restaurants, tourist attractions, and an easy day trip to Canada. We very much enjoyed our stay!

The building exterior is beautiful. Being greeted by front doors that open automatically added a touch of elegance. The interior was pretty but showing signs of wear. Our room was a bit disappointing. The heater fan was loud and woke us up throughout the night. The bathroom had a geriatric feel. The best part of our stay was the friendly staff and the chocolate chip cookies.

I have stayed here many times since it basically opened 15-20 years ago, and always looked forward to the special way it stood apart from other hotels. I recognize that it is under new ownership, and had hoped this meant breathing new life into what this place stands for, as it is time, it is in need of some tlc. Instead , the prices have gone up quite a bit, and they have taken away all of the iniquity and charm. No more range rover drop off/ pick ups, 1 very limited offering comp drink, vs 2 , and gone is the very special European breakfast, only to be replaced with a choice of 2 , less than appealing choices. Very institutional tables have replaced the pool table, which was relocated to the bar basically ruining the ambience of the room. It saddens me to say that I will not be returning.

I loved everything about the Mansion on Delaware Ave! The staff was so kind and welcoming and made me feel like they wanted me to stay there. The decorations of the mansion were beautiful, the room was clean and comfy, and there was a huge bathtub with jets! I am a young girl so traveling with my friend is scary when we are in a city we’ve never visited before. Staying at the mansion made us feel safe, which is very important to me. We stayed one night for a Stevie nicks concert and boy do I need to find more reasons to come to Buffalo just so I can stay at the mansion! I will be recommending it to everyone I know!

Unique building with great character. Complimentary cocktail and breakfast and clean room made for a great experience.

Staff was great! Only issue was the heating cut out in our room and we woke up to 57 degrees.it happens. Otherwise Great choice

First my room didn’t have internet so I had to move rooms. It was a tiny room but one of the ‘renovated’ ones. The second room was bigger but old and the shower was awful and made for someone handicap. Water pressure was bad and never got very hot. The heat didn’t go above 68 in the room and I was freezing. They only had two options for breakfast and no buffet which was what they used to have and it was very good. I won’t stay here again, I’ll stay at a newer modern hotel. Also, no valet. Had to park car in lot across the street.

The service was excellent, the staff were extraordinarily kind, patient and courteous. The staff seemed to go out of their way to assist in any way needed. The accommodations were ok. The room was old as was the building despite updates. If one is expecting ultra swank, don’t book here.
