Arrived during the tail end of a cyclone and spent 3 days in lockdown. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed until April (pretty sure this was not made clear when booking) and the lack of nearby alternatives, even snacks from reception, was disappointing. Standard of hotel and room is also barely a 3 star (this may be an Aussie issue, we’ve lived and travelled in Australia and a 4 star rating does not equate to what would be expected of an equivalent 4 star in other countries), with tired bathroom and towels supplied were quite threadbare. Given the basic kitchenette, with no restaurant eating proper meals was not an option.
