An excellent stay overall. If I had to find a criticism then it would be that the decor was a little dated and could use a little ‘refreshment’. That must not detract from this excellent stay with really friendly and efficient staff. The hotel has a great location providing easy walking to the city and the harbour. Excellent value for money and I would certainly be happy to stay there again.

The room was overall pretty good, but not for an executive upgrade. However, we did enjoy the complimentary wine, thank you Rydges! We liked the balcony but it had no chairs, no table & could of done with a paint. I’d suggest bring your own plates and cutlery, there were none provided in the room. The pillows were very flat and too high if you used 2. The staff were lovely, gave us more pillows, (the same flat type though) and told us we could borrow kitchen items from the restaurant. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size but could’ve done with an upgrade as it was basic. Although, I have to say, as we booked through ******* the price was fairly reasonable and all up we enjoyed our stay.

We liked staying at this property. The kids had their separate space with bunkbeds, although their room could have used a door. The rooms were spacious and quiet. One of the negatives was visiting in winter, as the rooms did not have heating nor the pools. The property is also several blocks from the main tourist spaces, so we had to drive to eat, shop, etc.

Staff were great and found us an early checkin when we had to change hotels after a tour. Rooms were a bit dated and I hated the little step into the bathroom. I’m a bit disabled. The food options were basic but the breakfast was fine and no problem getting soy milk which I need. We left excess baggage with them when we left for two trips without charge or difficulty. There was a useful fridge in the room and the bare minimum of tea and coffee facilities, also useful.
