I stayed with Alt previously and enjoyed their offering and staff, and decided to book at the University District. They just opened 2 months ago and everything was brand new and well kept. There were still some construction disruptions as we were assigned on the 3rd floor. Their restaurant was still under construction so we couldn’t use it. However, the new neighborhood has a lot of offering including a Save On Foods numerous restaurants across the street. Overall the vibe was good in a safe and clean neighborhood. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a quality and affordable experience.

Staff who checked us in was pleasant and accommodating. Easy, smooth check in. Very clean and modern. Loved the view on the top floor mountain view. Internet connection is the only complaint.
Very convenient and accessible to all amenities. All within walking distance. Awesome location!

It was quaint. Nespresso machine always adds a wonderful touch to the morning to enjoy as we watched the Calgary sunrise. Amenities are all close. Clean and quiet. Friendly. Easy parking. Well priced parking at $20 per night.

Very nice property and location. Was perfect for what I needed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Love being able to watch Netflix in hotels. Only downside was there was no tea or ability to make tea in the room.

The hotel was nice, staff very helpful. Location to the University was the selling point.
Unfortunaty, once you were in the room you could hear the shower running, the toilet being used from other rooms.
As well the doors were very heavy so they slammed closed.

Great location! Grocery store, restaurants, Children’s Hospital & green space short walk from the hotel. You have to pay $20 to park underground but it’s worth it for the amenities in the area

Really nice hotel. Very clean, and quiet. 5 minutes walk to Alberta Childrens Hospital, grocery store, restaurants. Friendly staff.
