長廊飯店(La Promenade)

We came in without a reservation and hoping for the best. Sean greeted us at the check-in counter and gave us an absolute waterfront unit on a corner, with views to die for. The unit is well-equipped, with a kitchenette, washer and dryer, comfortable sitting and eating area, a spa bath overlooking the water, and a lovely balcony which we would have spent the whole time on except for the rain. Free underground parking, close to all shops and restaurants, and a lovely cafe right next door. Highly recommended - we will definitely be back next time we’re down under!

I am in the middle of my stay. We stayed for two nights. I called at 7pm regarding the bathroom light which wasn’t operating and both tvs which were not working using the remotes. I was advised it was not an emergency and that I wouldn’t be charged for the phonecall. Absolutely appalling service for one polite phonecall asking for at least the bathroom light to be fixed. I am here on my own with three young children who are likely to need the bathroom in the night. It is disappointing this is the level of service provided this day and age. We have very rarely requested a thing and when needed get this response. The apartment is quite tired with many items requiring maintenance or repair. Otherwise the views are beautiful. However based on the above we can not recommend a stay here.

We both love Caloundra and had previously stayed at the Watermark which is a little more expensive but worth it in every way. Very disappointed that the cooking area in our kitchenette consisted of a portable electric hot plate that was plugged in. Size of kitchen made cooking very difficult. Unfortunately it was windy the week that we stayed. The noise in the apartment at night made it impossible to sleep. All the doors and windows rattled and whistled all night. When addressed with a staff member he advised us to move the door slightly until it stops as it wasn’t very secure in the frame. The location of the apartment was awesome for us. However the apartment itself was not fit for our purpose which was a longer stay.

The view from the balcony is the bonus for this friendly welcoming apartment. But can't review with out mentioning Cheryl and Sean who make you so welcome and can't do enough for you. Also Rosina and the other lady whose name I forget for keeping our apartment clean. Don't think they are used to somebody staying 6 weeks and so things like the wardrobe space is a little cramped. BUT don't let that put you off ask it is just a quibble about an amazing place.

A fabulous place to stay. We were in a 2 bedroom unit which overlooked the water. It was roomy, very clean and had everything we needed. It’s in a great location and check in was easy. Highly recommended for a long or short stay. Each unit has an allocated car park.

Friendly staff, great view and clean. However, bed and pillows not comfortable nor was the couch. Small TV, rusty outdoor furniture and balcony. Small carparks in basement. Whole room could do with a makeover. Ok for an overnight stay but no longer.

The two bedroom ocean view unit was clean and tidy with amazing views. The kitchen was on the small side but adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful. Anything we needed was in walking distance and close to the shopping centre. Would definitely recommend this for a place to stay, relax and unwind.

We had a lovely stay here for our anniversary after our Hawaii trip got cancelled. We had a waterfront one bedroom apartment which was spacious and overlooked the water. It is close to shops and restaurants. The bed is to die for. The apartment also has a spa bath for when you want to have a soak after a day of exploring. Thank you for yet another stay.

Management were absolutely top notch. Went out of his way to get us a bed for the night when we were desperate and gave us the cheapest rate during peak season it was unbelievable! Rooms and view were outstanding. Can’t wait to come back for another chilled out weekend. Thanks staff 😬
