Good place to stay

Supr Hotel, direkt am Meer. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Die Aussicht vom Balkon auf's Meer ist super. Das Essen im Hotel ist sehr lecker. In 20 Minuten ist man zu Fuss in der Altstadt und kann die alten Häuser und Strassen geniessen.

Personnel très professionnel, mais la facturation au restaurant Armada n'est pas correcte. Lors du payement ils ajoutent de leur initiative le pourboir de 10% à la note avec mention " Contribution pour le service si vous êtes d'accord". Bien entendu personne lors du payement lis ce detail et donc ajoute un deuxième pourboir. Une méthode assez bizarre : imposer un pourboir d'office !!!

we were infited by the manager of the vacation club to come to a tour and a presentation, 30 november 9.20. when we came we were brought in by a verry friendly lady, at the office of the club she was told she was not allowed to bring poeple in, not verry friendly. an other lady took our names, how old we are an were we stey at the moment. and also told us the presentation was 1 our and 40 minutes. no problem for us, after a verry short time we were told that there was no place for us at the presentation today, sorry we have an appontment, for today, no everithing is occupied. you can try another time. we are both 65+ and i am in a wheelchair, and i felt that that was the reasen we were not welkom, today ore anny other day. this was a verry bad experience at the savoy , and i know i will never stay there.

We have just had 10 days in a Junior suite, and from the first day to the last the hotel has been very good, why not a 5 rating you may ask, this is due to the decor, the room and some public areas are showing their age, it is small things but broken fixings in wardrobes smashed electrical sockets do give you a bed feeling, however overall the staff have been wonderful, and the food excellent, best service has to be the Thatchers Bar, the bar tenders are excellent. The position of the hotel makes it walking distance into Funchal, but around the hotel there are lots of very good restaurants. I am already looking at booking for next year.

Découverte très agréable de cet hôtel Très bel emplacement. Un accès à la mer facile une très belle piscine un service agréable L’animation est molle et vieillissante cependant A la piscine le service est trop long

Un bel emplacement et des piscines au top + 1 accès à la mer sportif et agréable. Chambres et petit déjeuner +++ Réception laxiste et pas très aidante mais les voituriers sont très aimables et sympathiques Au restaurant piscine les plats sont moyens et le service très trop long L’autre restaurant est meilleur mais le service sans amabilité sauf un serveur barbu Un effort appréciable de quelques animations mais les chanteuses sont pénibles et quelques soirées très vieillottes

No es un hotel con los servicios de un cinco estrellas, le falta muchisimo, el hotel en sj esta anclado en el pasado si hablamos de instalaciones, el personal dista mucho de ser amable y eficiente ( a excepcion del personal de recepcion y de conserjeria) el buffet, es indigno de lo que se paga, poca varidad, poca cantidad y poca calidad, el servicio de pisicna terrible y la comida en los restaurantes muy mala.... Definitivamente muy deficiente
