Nice place for visiting Canterbury! The breakfast is great, a good way to start the day!!

Although this hotel from the outside didn’t look as appealing as others we have visited, the welcome was one of the warmest we have received in a long time. We were welcomed by the manager (Rohitha Abeysekera) who apologised for our delay, to which there wasn’t any delay, and said help yourself to a hot drink. The rooms were clean and tidy, and breakfast was excellent with everything for all needs. We were always asked by the chef if there was everything we needed and if we wanted more, a special mention to the deputy manager binoy Xavier who was also there for all our needs. You have to remember this is almost a motel type hotel with great rooms food and service.

This is the first time I've stayed in a HIExpress for many years. My stay here stands out from any hotel I've stayed at in the past few years. The hotel was very clean and efficiently run. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was hot, fresh and plentiful. The hotel is perfectly located for a visit to the charming seaside town of Whitstable. Canterbury City Centre is also 10 mins down the road. My only gripe (albeit small) was having to pay an additional car park charge. I re-checked the *********** website, which states booking includes fees and taxes. Come on, stop hitting us with stealth fees. Overall a 9/10 or 4.5/5.

Excellent staff Second time staying at a holiday inn and I must say I was impressed especially by the really helpful staff . I would recommend it and will definitely use the holiday inn again ✔️🙌 The rooms were very clean and the restaurant was amazing we had the breakfast and you really had lots to choose from.. it was fresh and lovely

We spent the weekend here for a birthday, the staff were so welcoming, the chef was amazing (highly recommend the curry or burger). The room itself was warm and cosy and definitely clean. Breakfast was lovely and the staff would always say hello to us. Its location is great and a taxi was only £15 into town.

Had a very difficult time reaching the hotel due to road closures. It would have been helpful if the hotel had notified guests of the process in advance (we had to be escorted through the roadworks by an official vehicle) but I didn't receive anything. Ended up calling them after lots of sat nav redirects and not getting anywhere. But hopefully that won't be for long (this was mid-Oct 2023). Once I got there, the hotel was great - staff were helpful and the service was very good. Nice, clean comfortable room and a great breakfast.

My family stayed at the holiday inn in Kent on November 24th. There were hairs on the pillow and the toilet board had some dirty mark. Definely, the hotel has hygiene problem although it is 3 stars hotel.

Hotel ist an der Autobahn gelegen, so dass man gut rankommt. Zimmer haben alles was man braucht und waren auch sauber. Abendessen war wirklich gut, auch Frühstück beim Frühstück ist für jeden was dabei. Parkplatz kostet pro Nacht 3 Pfund. Leider war irgendeine Familienfeier indischer Gäste, was extrem laut war, so dass wir wenig Schlaf bekamen.
