Holiday Inn 雪梨(Holiday Inn Sydney - Waterfront)

The stay was good.

Dès notre entrée dans la chambre, il y avait une odeur de vieux tapis moisi/ odeur de vomi… Cette odeur a persisté tout le long de notre séjour et nous a franchement écoeuré… Le système de climatisation est ancestrale et ça nous a pris plusieurs minutes pour comprendre comment l’allumer pour essayer d’aérer la pièce. Le bain-douche était sale. (Nous avons pris une douche avec des sandale) Les shampoing/revitalisant laissé comme commodité était à moitié utilisé? Il est vrai que l’hôtel est bien situé et que notre vue était incroyable (vue sur le port), mais l’odeur et la propreté des installations nous ont vraiment déçu… Nous avons séjourné dans plusieurs Holiday Inn et celui-ci aurait vraiment besoin de mise à niveau (rénover les chambres/salle de bain, nettoyer/changer le tapis, changer le système de climatisation). De plus, le parking est payant: 7$ par jour… D’accord c’est inscrit, mais y a-t-il quelque chose de plus fâchant que de payer un parking et ne pas pouvoir l’utiliser, car il est plein??? Notre deuxième soirée avons du attendre que quelqu’un sorte du stationnement (30 minutes) pour finalement pouvoir nous stationner pour la nuit… Bref beaucoup de déception pour nous!

We were in an accessible room because my Mum has mobility issues. The room should be closed, as it was dangerous. The walk-in shower floor was installed with a tilt, which caused water to flood out into the bathroom floor. This is a slip and fall potential. I had to use almost all the towels on the floor, which then becomes a tripping issue. In addition, I could not dry my hair in the bathroom, as I was worried about the potential of getting electrocuted because of the water on the floor. I could not find a single electrical outlet that would hold a plug, to charge a device. They were wore out and the plugs would fall out of the outlets. Top this off with a bed that was too high for my Mum to get into safely without help. In my opinion, this room should be closed until suitably renovated. I’ve used Holiday Inns in the past. This was the first time I have been disappointed.

Not the best greeting I have had on check in. Picked the wrong weekend as too many teenagers staying there as well. Cars were tearing up the road all hours of the night. Carpet in the hallway needs a cleaning. Door hinge on the tv stand door broken. Has been for some time as you could tell it was rubbing off the finish on the bottom part. Fridge not very cold. Hot water from the bathroom faucet slow. Stairs outside connecting lower level parking tapped off, inconvenience forced to walk around. Noticed two people walking with canes having struggling with the incline of the driveway. All in all not what I was expecting. Definitely think twice before another stay or giving recommendation.

This is a nice place to stay. The rooms were clean and the view is great. The hotel has great amenities as well. The breakfast was delicious but we had to wait quite a while for a table and for the food to come in. Its best to get in early. The hotel is a stone's throw away from the big fiddle and had direct access to the harbor.

The property is in need of repairs, and the staff was not responsive to our needs. Not a good representation of a Holiday Inn, which are usually reliable and clean. Certainly overpriced for the value received. Will not stay here again.
