Номер был просто восхительный, с очень красивым видом. Также в доме живут две милые собаки и павлины. Это одно из лучших мест, чтобы остановиться в Кейптауне.

Great location, able to walk through the vineyard of Groot Constatia where you can do wine tastings at one of the best vineyards in the area. Roughly 30-40 minutes to all Cape Town attractions

We stayed here for 6 nights at the start of January and wished we didn’t have to leave! The guest house itself if absolutely stunning, with lovely communal areas and a fabulous pool. The location is so convenient to walk through the vineyards for a spot of lunch or just a short drive to the waterfront or camps bay. We felt so relaxed here as the setting is so private and peaceful. Our room was very spacious, exceptionally clean and with the comfiest bed. Breakfast each morning was very fresh and with a nice range. We particularly loved the complimentary cake served each afternoon! On top of everything above, the thing that really made this guest house extra special are the hosts Jacques & Jenny. They are both so welcoming and happy to help with restaurant recommendations or day trip ideas. We honestly felt so at home with these two and are already planning our return trip! Thanks again for making our holiday so wonderful

We stayed here for a week, and Jenny and Jackques could not have been more accommodating. The room we had was huge and overlooked the garden, pool, and the plain to the west. There was no air-conditioning and it got rather hot at night. This was our only complaint. The bathroom was also huge with a shower, no bath, not a problem for us. The guests lounge overlooked the garden. It was very peaceful listening to the fountain. Downstairs is a games room ,shower room for anyone checking out late for an evening flight and loungers and chairs for the pool. There is an honesty bar which is very reasonably priced. The Continental breakfast was delicious and could be eaten outside overlooking the garden or on one of the two common or tables to allow chat with fellow guests. We would happily return

What an amazing experience!! Not only the beautiful property - suites, lounges, poolarea and garde- but not to fortet the most incredible hosts, Jenn and Jacques ! If there is noe place to stay in South Africa - this is the place! The area is perfect and safe, and close to everything.

A wonderful stay from Arrival to Departure . The hospitality and warmth shown by Jacques and Jenn blew us away . You are made to feel totally at ease at the property which was much appreciated . The direct access from the Grounds of the property to the Groot Wine Estate was particularly appreciated with a 5 minute walk to Simons restaurant or Groot wine tasting. Devonport house itself presents itself as a Pristine Period property with a Warm Heart provided by Jacques and Jenn .. You will want for nothing during your stay and we will certainly return …

From the moment you enter the gates you feel at home. The interior is very tasteful and elegant. It’s clean and every room has a stunning view over the Constantia valley. It tranquil and yet so close to beautiful wine farms and restaurants. I can and literally didn’t want to leave so stayed a few weeks.

Highly recommended, we had a wonderful stay and felt so at home and relaxed there. Jacques and Jen are incredible hosts. The property has beautiful rooms with magnificent views. Lovely pool area and spacious garden.

Dieses Guesthouse ist der richtige Ort in Kapstadt, um sich zu erholen und die Stadt zu ergründen. Es liegt direkt am Signal Hill umgeben von toller Natir in Tamboerskloof mit einem traumhaften Blick auf Devils Peak und den Tafelberg. Der Gastgeber wohnt hier selber auch mit seiner Frau. Beide sind sehr hilfsbereit, wenn es um Tipps in Bezug auf Essen und Aktivitäten gilt. Die Angestellten sind sehr sehr nett, es ist sehr sehr sauber und einfach schön hier. Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Zu Fuß erreicht man sehr viele tolle Restaurants. Wir würden immer wieder hier wohnen wollen.
