卡梅爾鄉村旅館(Carmel Country Inn)

Quiet, clean, extremely well-maintained inn close to lots of dining, ten minutes to beach; and on a less busy street. Staff are superior, breakfasts notches above what others offer, pet-friendly (Mr. Big!). We’ve stayed at ＞10 properties in Carmel through the years and this is right at the top.

We had two criteria for our Carmel accommodations. Walking distance to the attractions of Ocean Avenue and acceptance for our two French Bulldogs. Country Inn scored great on both. We like the quaint inn, but the updated decor made it worth the price. Very personal and friendly service. Simple but nice breakfast and day-long snacks.

What a lovely find. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom suite for our family of four. Immaculately clean, loads of towels and linen. Good location for easy walk to the restaurants. Extremely warm welcome and charming low key but delicious breakfast. We were even sent on our way with snacks for the journey.

Staff are exceptionally pet friendly and accommodating. My partner and I originally had reservations in March, just when the heavy rains, floods and road closures impacted the area. We live locally (Watsonville) so were also impacted at home. I called to modify the reservations just days before arrival and inn keeper Amy was 100% understanding: she offered a cancellation with full refund, rescheduling, or modifying the reservation. I couldn't have been more satisfied with her response. We rescheduled for May, it was a wonderful 3-night stay. We stayed in an upstairs Luxury King Studio, having the balcony was an extra treat. Being within walking distance of downtown was so convenient. Room was very clean with a generous supply of towels. The morning buffet is very good, I loved their mini quiches. I highly recommend. We definitely plan to return.

Charming and welcoming. I returned to paradise after a two year time away. The Carmel Country Inn is still as welcoming as my first stay. They seem to provide beyond your expectations. Upon arrival we had cookies and trail mix waiting for us. I did not want to leave! Thank you for a great 4 day stay!

We stayed in the Treehouse luxury king studio for a three night stay in Carmel and loved our room! Spacious with comfy bed, extremely quiet, large fireplace that quickly warmed the room. So light and airy with so many windows and nice patio to sit and enjoy our coffee or wine in the evening. All employees were so pleasant and helpful! Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and variety of hot and cold choices. On Easter we opened our door to a basket filled with treats! Lots of pretty flowers and plants on the property. Bring a small car as parking is a little tight. Short walk to beach and downtown. A great experience overall!

Everything was good, there isn’t anything that made us uncomfortable or unhappy. My wife liked the bathtub with jacuzzi! We enjoyed the stay in Carmel by the Sea and we would like to stay longer next time.

We have stayed here many times. It is always set up to run smooth. The only issue and not any fault of the property, is the cars driving on the street travel very fast (over 25MPH) when the speed limit is 15 and this is dangerous and concerning when walking in the area.

Very quaint location convenient 2 block walk to restaurants and shops. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming.
