Transportation : Personal transportation Hotel : You can book online or when you get there . Trip.com doesn’t show all the rooms it’s better to go there straight ❤️ Food : they have restaurants . Their food is teeeew good . It’s cheap ❤️ Environment : They are welcoming. . We had a good time . Since it’s winter we thought it’s gonna be too cold since it’s closer to the mountains. But to our surprise it’s warmer . Activities : They have a brochure that has all the activities that will take place on that day . It has prices and locations of Activities . Rooms : They are neat and our room has nice views

I have been to Caley Lodge for many years. It has stunning views, modern homes and wonderful activities. This was my first bad experience with the lodge. House no. 4 had flies all over the kitchen and lounge. We had requested for us to move to another home but according to the receptionist there was no availability. She suggest an insect spray. It was a cold weekend and I was looking forward to the splash pool. Unfortunately it was not working. The outside table was burnt at certain points. It looked as if someone had placed a 3 legged pot on the table cause there was 3 holes in a triangular shape on the table. The bathrooms were not in good condition as per the pic. The sofa was torn on the corner. Believe me caley has some of the best holiday homes but this one needs some serious repairs and maintenance.

We heard that the road leading to the resort was bad, so we had prepared for it. Yes it is bad in patches, no you dont need a 4x4. If you are calm and watch the road you can avoid 90% of the potholes which are wuite shallow. Now to the stay. What an amazing place to visit. We arrived and had such a friendly greeting from everyone we encounted, including guests. The room was fantastic. Very upmarket. 23b.. great view but would have liked 23c rather as the view isnt obstructed as much by side walls of sticks from orher chalets. No worries though. A short walk in the front grassy yard and the mighty views greet you, with mountains and a large dam below. Dinner was a bit long to get to us but with cocktails in hand and good conversation you quite forget the food anyway. Once it arrived it was tasty and warm with good presentation and even better sauces.

Worse experience ever booked through stayfortlong I booked a twin three bedroom only to be placed In a small one bedroom with no accessories the one i had booked had a pool and it was self catering worse weekend I will never use this site again had no assistance and the manager kept on saying I have to speak to them because I booked with I even wanted to leave but couldn't because they wouldn't refund me 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

We booked for 5 days with 2 kids; checked after 2 days.. So what was bad: - reception was glad to see us go - no reaction why we left early without requesting for a refund - location is remote and no other restaurants within 20 k ; their own restaurant is pathetic servicing rotten and expired food - accommodation / chalet quality is average with good views but poorly done bathrooms with a stale smell - water park is not maintained and water stale… What was good.. - views are good overlooking a nice dam.

Although a lovely setting, good luck trying to get a decent night's sleep here. There seem to be no rules for noisy guests... .we had terrible sleep both nights of our stay. We won't be visiting again.

Our stay over 3 days was excellent, we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Special mention goes to Prudence by the pool, she was amazing and kept us entertained. My partner enjoyed the cruise more and thoroughly enjoyed the quad biking experience.

Great great place! There are many activities in and around the lodge. I spent most of my time at The View infinity pool, Snqobi the host was great, welcoming and friendly. Great place to meet people because everyone is so friendly! They should serve more snacks and maybe coffee in winter. It was worth every cent.

Accommodation excellent. Do not try the restaurant. Truly needs attention. Very long waiting times for mediocre food. Relatively small portions. Place is well maintained, nice family activities, beautiful views, but not the best view in the area when compared to others like champagne castle.
