美利亞奧蘭多塞利佈雷申飯店(Meliá Orlando Celebration)

First, we paid for a room with a pool view, but when we arrived, we were given a room without a pool view. It took some time (approximately 2 hours) and some convincing, but the manager was able to relocate us to a room with a pool view. When we arrived in the new room, we were pleased with the location and space; however, the furnishings appeared old and not well-maintained; most wooden furniture contained many scratches, the dresser drawers in the bedroom were off the rails and not easily opened, seating on the couch in the living room was impossible, as one almost sank to the floor when attempting to sit on the couch. The overall style and look of the furnishings were just old. It's so sad for a hotel with a great location and upscale reputation.

It had been over 10 years since we last visited Melia Orlando and having celebrated past anniversaries there, my wife and I thought we would try it again. Unfortunately, time has not been kind to this property. Little things like no ceiling fans in the rooms and the getting sand stuck to your feet when walking barefoot in the room were not pleasant. The final nail in the coffin so to speak was the AC unit in our room quit working making for a very uncomfortable last night. On the plus side, this property is well located to everything. Also, the management made a small concession for the AC unit breakdown. I never like to say never but I don't think we will ever visit this property again.

This is my first time staying here. I booked a two bedroom suite, which had a kitchen complete with everything you would need for an extended stay. The cleanliness was excellent, the bath towels were that good I wanted to take one. The suite was modern, comfortable and quiet. I have several more trips to Orlando this year and the Melia Orlando is where I will be staying because the staff are awesome too.

I never write reviews, but feel so strongly about our experience, I decided to. We opted to pay more for a room with 2 queen beds, which also had a sofa bed, as there were 3 of us traveling (I am pregnant and my mom is older and we wanted to be comfortable). Check in took a long time and the staff member left the desk four times for an unknown reason. One time he came back, he informed us that two queen beds were not enough for three people and said he was “upgrading us” to the room I had reserved and prepaid for (2 queens, sofa bed). We hiked to our room which was in another building on the 5th floor. There was only one king bed. We returned to the desk where another staff member assisted, said she saw we were given the wrong room and would fix it. She gave us another room on the 3rd floor in another building. There was only one king bed again. We returned to the desk. They said there was nothing they could do and eventually admitted they were overbooked and had no rooms like we reserved. She said the manager told her to give us a roll away bed. We spoke with the manager who also said there was nothing they could do but take away the $36/night fee. This took two hours and it was almost midnight/we were exhausted after traveling all day. The roll away bed was disgusting and old. The room was not clean and outdated. The halls smelled and felt like a college dorm. The location is not convenient to the airport, surrounding area is very commercial. Definitely do not recommend.

Had a wonderful stay. Some minor upgrades are needed (shower handle loose and night lamp dim or just needs to be replaced) but nothing that made the trip unbearable. Place was clean, room always was at a comfortable temp, pool area great, food excellent and staff attentive. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will be returning.

This property was beautiful, and the housekeeping service was terrific. They cleaned our room daily and restocked it with towels and clean sheets. The staff were delightful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this resort to others.

Great hotel for family stays. Pool area was lovely. Lots of activities for kids. Room was very spacious for a family. Staff were very nice and polite. Room was cleaned well every day. Hotel is a 10 minute drive to Disney parks.
