拉波斯塔維奇亞飯店(La Posta Vecchia Hotel)

Tavolo prenotato da tempo. Ritardo 10', Tavolo inspiegabilmente ancora da preparare. Il tavolo imbandito è un 6 posti con disposizione dei commensali in serie e non contrapposti (presumibilmente soluzione di fortuna). Inizio cena con sola mescita di acqua (pane assente), per buoni 15 min. Il tavolo è lontano dalle fonti di luce e ci viene chiesto se intendiamo rinunciare alla abat jour per i moscerini che inevitabilmente verranno attratti (così è stato ed abbiamo dovuto fare la pesca nei bicchieri a più riprese). Il pane, servito, con olio, arriva ontemporaneamente alle prime portate (3 antipasti+1 primo). Dei 4 primi uno servito con pasta scotta. Dei secondi, una scelta è ricaduta sul classico "pescato del giorno in guazzetto" che a domanda risulta essere........pesce spada (ad agosto nel mediterraneo alto?!). Dopo un primo assaggio, risulta essere grasso e crudo. Si interrompe la degustazione e si rimanda indietro. Dessert del giorno: mousse al cioccolato.....terminata.

Mai stata in una struttura più bella. Servizio impeccabile da 5 stelle. Personale attento e discreto. Ci hanno offerto anche un upgrade incredibile data l'occasione speciale per la quale eravamo ospiti. Top assoluto.

Ma siete seri? Ho scritto una email un mese e mezzo fa per prenotare una cena per una ricorrenza speciale, ho chiamato ben 3 volte l’hotel che ha rassicurato sul fatto che sarei stata ricontattata ma nulla. In più pare che per contattare il ristorante debbano deviare la Chiamata su un cellulare che non Prende mai! Siete vergognosi! Ma come si fa a gestire un posto così bello con così poca professionalità? Ovviamente ho prenotato da un’altra parte e, forse, visto le recensioni che leggo sulla qualità del cibo, ho fatto bene!

Sono stata in questa struttura che conoscevo già da molto stavolta sfruttando per il mio compleanno il servizio piscina aperto anche per gli esterni dello hotel Niente da dire servizio accurato personale cortese piscina e posto incantevole. Una piacevole conferma.

We loved everything about La Posta Vecchia - stunning location, beautiful venue, amazing food, wonderful spa services and great staff. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation and you'd like to be pampered, this is the place for you. A big plus: the hotel is dog friendly and our Mela was treated like a queen. We will certainly go back!

We stayed at this absolutely special place in late September when the weather was perfect. The setting right on the Tyrrhenian sea is extraordinary and has been a vacation destination since the time of the romans. La Posta Vecchia was originally built in the 17th century and updated by J. Paul Getty in the 60s when it served as his personal home. It unlike any place we have ever stayed, and the extraordinary staff, food and easy access to central Italy made it one of the most relaxing destinations ever. We did day trips through Italy but were always ready to return for a swim and such wonderful food that we never wanted to dine elsewhere. incredibly special place.
