quite convenient place near central bus/railway station, abt 10mins walk. staffs are friendly. suite is bright and warm, equipped with refrigerator, cooker and cutlery

Everything is great beside trying to have strong wifi. Best is to be near window.

Gli appartamenti sono ben tenuti, cucina essenziale con microonde e un fornello, clima e riscaldamento. Unica pecca il bagno troppo piccolo veramente si entra sacrificati. La zona è tranquilla si raggiunge il centro a piedi in 15 minuti. Personale accogliente e cortese. Prezzo corretto. Nessun problema di parcheggio

We had a great stay at Aloha Apartments in late February going into March. We had a choice of rooms when we got there, so chose a bigger one on the ground floor by the pool, which was bright, and a nice view. Obviously as it was the end of winter we didn't use the pool or sit in the garden, but for sure in better weather it must be a pleasant place to relax in. The room was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of room. The shower room was great, and there was always hot water, and clean towels whenever we needed from the hallway area. There is the entrance to a well in the room, working, I assume. The top part of it has been made into a coffee table. It's probably the most unusual feature of any apartment we've ever stayed in. Elora and George, who run the apartments, were always very welcoming and helpful with organising very good excursions and supplying a decent local taxi service. The apartments are maybe a mile or so from the city centre along the Vardar river, in an old part of the city. It's easy in the Balkans to mistake old or traditional areas as run down, but it's not, and consequently you have to see past the immediate view to its unspectacular charm: you are staying in a historic area which is more authentically Skopje than the city centre, with all its statues and grand buildings. The apartments are well situated to walk into town, though we usually got a taxi back, a ten-minute trip which costs 100-200 denar - very cheap. I liked the local dogs in the neighbourhood, who came to investigate us each time we came out of the gate, keeping a friendly distance and always strangely quiet. We really enjoyed our stay at Aloha, and highly recommend it, winter or summer.

Really nice experience, very nice owners, nice location. The rooms are not very big, but they are nice, and you can make your own food. The couple that runs the place are very nice and very service minded. Will absolutely go here again.

Aloha Luxury Apartments are located not far from the bus station in Skopje and the city center is also very accessible by foot. The check-in is in the basement, where the owners usually stay. There are also the washing machines, which have been declared as an included service, but actually cost 3€ per wash load, which is still reasonable. The pool can be used by all guests, although use is prohibited after 20h. In addition, the operators offer in-house tours in their own bus (Matka/Vodno, Ohrid), but we had organized independently. About the apartment: It is two-story, with a somewhat rickety spiral staircase paving the way to the bedrooms. On the first floor there is the living room and the kitchenette. The living room was very cozy, but the kitchen was sp****ly equipped (very few dishes, otherwise an induction plate, refrigerator and microwave). The equipment was functional. The bathroom was very cramped and got completely wet after every shower, a shower curtain would be very helpful here. There was a single towel provided per person, which is a bit low for a 6 day stay. The air conditioning had very poor performance so the bedroom was very warm at times. The sheet had a burn hole, otherwise the sleeping comfort was still acceptable. TThe Wifi was sometimes instable, but although fast enough. he owners were frequent and kept order with somewhat noisy guests. I cannot understand the designation Luxury Apartments, but would rather correspond to a functional BnB apartment. Given the very reasonable price and location, you can still call this a very good deal.

The location of the apartment was amazing. A 10 min walk into the city centre, along the water. The host was super lovely and helpful. My only concern is the walls are paper thin so I could hear my neighbours conversations. The first night a group of 3 lads were up until I asked them to be quiet until 3am. Most annoying. Also I had to swap my pillows, the original ones were so big I couldn't use them. Would also be helpful if they had fitted sheets as they kept coming untucked. Overall great value.
