Beautiful location… circa 1836 building, renovated but still holds plenty of 19th century charm (wood work etc). Staff called to advise where to check in (adjacent building) and park. Only downside was there was no hot water on one day (or hotel staff notice) due to Utilities work in area. Would stay here again … quite a unique boutique !

We loved the room! The bed was comfortable and the sitting area with 2 very nice chairs was a nice add. Also having a code to get you into the room after staff left was excellent. Although, I believe there needs to be an information page on how to use the TV. This might not be the case for those who arrive when staff is onsite, but for us it was an issue. As well our air conditioner/heater didn't operate. We did have someone come and show us how to turn it on. The green light came on indicating it was working, but when we went to cool it down to sleep the unit wouldn't go into cool or even heat operation.

Absolutely fabulous place! Would have loved to stay longer! Beautiful old mansion- walkable to town and eateties. Amazing gardens, private deck, beautiful room! Cant say enough positive about it and it was definitely the nicest property we've stayed in on this trip :)

Had such a nice getaway, Sam at the front desk was super helpful and accommodating. The rooms are so cozy. Everything is within a 10 min walking distance

Great staff. Room clean with wood floor which I much prefer to carpet. Only down side is that I was there for work and did not have a desk in my room

We stayed three nights in a one-bedroom suite in the Carriage House, one of four buildings comprising the property. Check -in was confusing, as we went to the lobby of the main building which was empty. Another guest was checking in at the same time, and he was equally confused. We called the number on the signage, and Carter answered right away. He was a bit swamped with check-ins, but made his way over and got us settled into our apar**ent as soon as he could. The ventilation system in our unit was loud and annoying, which Carter eventually remedied for us. The next morning we had no hot water - that was also remedied by the owner, later that morning. Despite all of these snags to begin, we did enjoy our stay. The buildings are all charming. The grounds were still in a state of recovery after the storm, but we could tell they were well cared for. The breakfasts were really tasty and it was always nice to greet our fellow guests and chat about our experiences in the city. Carter was especially helpful to us during our stay, but all of the staff were kind and courteous. Fiona had just run through the city, and I know that the property was still recovering from this; however, I feel as if maybe a bit more guidance from the owners may help things run a bit smoother.

Very cute place. Room was massive. Stayed in the Irene room. Antique feel to it. There are 3 buildings.

Felt like stepping back in time - very Anne of Green Cables or victorian feel.
