Have stayed here so many times never had a problem, staff so friendly.

Nice hotel , in accessible location. Food in the bar is delicious.

Dieses Hotel ist familiengeführt. Das merkt man bereits, wenn man das Haus betritt. Aufzug bis in den 6. Stock. Zimmer sauber, Badewanne vorhanden, 2 Betten sind da. Überaus freundliches Personal und der Hotelbesitzer erkundigt sich an jedem Tish, dass alles stimmt. Die Küche ist auf Sonderwünche eingestellt und bereitet exzellentes Gerichte zu. Ich habe nur deshalb keine 5 Punkte vergeben, da das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage hat und weder Schwimmbad noch Spa verfügt und weil man die Speisenkarte mit der Handybeleuchtung lesen muss, weil das Licht nicht ausreicht.

We had afternoon tea in The Temple gate today and it was such an excellent experience I had to write this review from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome the food was delicious and the level of service was excellent they could not do enough for us making sure our drinks were topped up and plenty of food. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back again. Thank you to all the staff that made our experience so special.

Super easy parking. Helpful knowledgable staff. Great location. located on the Back Side of Main Street and Square of Ennis. Ennis is a medieval town so driving and parking can be a problem.... but having the back of the hotel at the busy part of town if was easy to park and quiet (compared to rest of town.). I will only stay there when I return to Ennis

The Temple Gate is a Classic Irish Hotel. The service is great, the rooms are very comfortable with the most comfortable beds and pillows. It is located in walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Great place to stay when visiting Southern Ireland

This is a really lovely hotel. It has a great bar and restaurant, the food is excellent and the beds are really comfortable. But the absolute best thing about the hotel is the staff - they are amazing! We were made to feel so welcome and the service was second to none. The hotel is right in the centre of Ennis too so very close to shops, bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Three star hotel with a four star location and common areas. Located in the center of Ennis, this hotel is in a great location to walk to all parts of Ennis. The common rooms and pub are very nice, and retain the architecture and feel of its prior convent life, which makes it interesting. While the hotel is unique, and worthy of a stop-in for a drink, the rooms were just average. The Executive Room we had felt cramped and dated, and was just modestly furnished. Nothing bad - but nothing memorable or worthy of a return trip. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, breakfast was fine, but just fine. There is nothing to really complain about, but nothing memorable either.

Our room was clean and airy. Nice location, parking on site, and view. They have the best staff ever from receptionist to pub staff. Standard breakfast is included. Ennis is very close to the Cliffs of Moher. The town is undergoing a bit of a renovation, which makes sightseeing problematic. Hopefully, they will be done by summer.
