When I booked on *******, the final price was $328 with change. When I arrive to check-in the price I was being charged was $430. I questioned it, they said $50 a night for incidentals (this was NEVER mentioned on *******) but okay, I understand. I check-in, arrive to my room and the carpet was dirty (debris, nail clippings etc.). we checked in kind of late so my wife and I were ready to sleep. Pull down the top sheets, hairs (don’t want to imagine what kind) all over the bottom bed sheets. We go to the receptionist; she’s all by herself with no other staff so she gives us new sheets (we understood her situation). I got to the bathroom and there were hairs all over the floor, including the toilet. Different kinds of hairs. Again, the receptionist (Aishia) was gracious enough to come clean and disinfect the bathroom. We ask for our room to be cleaned in the morning and it gets done (they also leave a $5 Starbucks gift card). Our last day, we were getting breakfast and one of the cafeteria employees obviously hates her job. We found creamer underneath the coffee cabinet and used it for our coffee. She comes by with a nasty attitude and says that’s for after breakfast only and takes the creamer away from my wife and I, while we are still grabbing creamer, puts the creamer back and slams the cabinet door, rolls her eyes and walks off. This was a horrible experience. The only positive thing about our stay was Aisha’s help. We’ve had better experience and treatment a La Quinta.
