The Lodge at Spruce Peak, Part of Hyatt

Hôtel très propre et tous les employés sont exceptionnellement serviables et courtois. Le service de valet pour la voiture est pratique et facile. L'hôtel a une borne pour recharger notre voiture électrique et nous la remettait chargée à chaque utilisation. Nous avons profité de l'emplacement idéal pour monter le mont Mansfield.

Staff did not seem customer service oriented. Our room was next to the trash dumpster. Why does this seems to happen when I book through *******? They absolutely would not change the room, even though it was not busy…off season. They had no breakfast buffet even though it was listed as an option.

Location is perfect if you want easy access to the mountain. We liked being able to walk across the street and begin our hike. We found the Lodge restaurant short staffed especially during breakfast ( only meal we had) ( Alpine Hall). Our room seemed to connect to another room and found the kids next to us quite loud. If you advertise as Pet friendly you should be able to leave your pups alone. You should not have to spend money for a pet sitter who would be a complete stranger. We have stayed at other pet friendly places and have never come across this odd policy. Then why bother to be pet friendly. Our dogs were quieter than the kids next to us screaming Sunday morning. Tom and bathroom were nice. Bed was comfortable. Surrounding outside area was nice for taking the dogs for a nice walk.

Since Hyatt bought the property some changes have been made to make it even more expensive. There is no longer free self serve parking- they charge $2 per hour if you don’t move your car in 12 hours. Years ago there were some complimentary breakfast snacks in the lobby - this is now gone. Overall it’s a nice property and such a great area. Just costs add up very quickly.

We were not given the room we paid for and were told they were fully booked and no other rooms available. Sarah the manager at the front desk was terrible and ruined our check in experience. Our room had absolutely no view even though it was advertised that it would, it smelled terrible and incredibly outdated, our fireplace wouldn’t stay lit for more than 5 mins and maintenance had to come up over 3 times to fix it and still barely worked, our bathroom lights went out on our second day and the TV didn’t work. Overall, underwhelming experience for the price we paid especially since the hotel requires that you stay a minimum of 2 nights during the week. We drive to Vermont yearly for the fall foliage and have stayed at this hotel twice before because our experience was much different to this one. However this will be our last time staying at this establishment.

Hotel precioso con excelentes servicios y ubicación para vivir el otoño.

We booked a room for 3 adults. We were given 2 small beds that couldn't fit 2 thin adults. Asked to be moved to a room with 2 queen beds. Were told they were given to other guests. Asked if we could pay for a cot or have an air mattress, told no. The hotel wouldn't upgrade us despite their mistake and my ******* gold status. Were told we could pay for another room. None of us Slept. We had a terrible night.
