The beach area was beautiful. The pool area and room was mediocre. The cleaning and restaurant service was excellent. The front desk service was subpar. When asking for clarification the response was always I’m sorry or not our fault. The biggest problem with this hotel is you do not get what you paid for. We paid extra for gulf view and received partial side. We paid $35 per day for resort fee for 1 towel a day and a chair in the pool area. You had to pay extra for a chair/umbrella on the beach. We had to ask for coffee cups for our room at the front desk. When we called about loud crying and screaming at 2:40 AM in the hallways and then in the balcony from other guests. Security did not come to check out the problem. When our safe did not work, we sat in our room for over an hour and it was not fixed. Every day there was a problem not resolved. This hotel is overpriced!

Run down. For $500 a night, I expect an up to date facility. I booked a king and got a double where I had to crawl out of bed. Just not the experience I wanted. The pros, very close to the ***** and had a balcony. Not a terrible experience, but definitely expected more.

The hotel is lovely and beach area is incredible but it’s a joke to be asked to pay $125 to sit on a lounger on the beach. Even worse that the umbrellas at the pool were shut for “high winds” but then the staff offered the beach cabanas shades which were $125 and no different in terms of being affected by wind. Overall a disgusting cash grab when you’re already being charged $35 resort fee per day, which “covers beach area and towels etc”.

Enjoyed the amenities. The overall experience was great but what they charged for the room did not measure up. The carpet was worn out and atmosphere was average and food average. Upon check in there was no one at the desk i had to shout to get someone to come out. I paid extra for gulf view and got view of a roof and sliver of gulf.

I was so excited to stay with the Hilton as I’ve always had an enjoyable stay with the chain. The customer service at checkin was amazing. I was surprised by the required daily parking fee at checkin and to find out that the hotel was valet only. There was 4 plus people working valet. However, I quickly realized a couple of hours later that there’s a major difference between their day shift and night shift staff. The night shift staff was nonexistent. No one was ever at the desk. The first night I couldn’t get me car back from the valet because they didn’t have a driver. I asked for my keys and I would get my car myself as I had dinner plans. The “office lady” as she called herself informed me that it was locked in the garage. I waited an hour to no avail before ultimately canceling my plans and walking to a nearby restaurant for dinner. The second night I returned to the hotel and valet was no where to be found. I parked my car up front and went to the front lobby to find no one was there either. I stood there waiting before a couple of fellow guest walked up and started yelling and banging on the desk a few minutes later someone came from the back. Very unpleasant as if we were disturbing her. I ended up leaving my keys with her. I wanted to love this hotel but I will most certainly not be returning to this location.

The rooms are a little dated, but the location was fantastic and the outdoor amenities were great! Parking is valet only. This is nice with the limited parking in the area, except when you just want to run something to your vehicle or want the option to come and go without waiting. We were able to check in early so that was nice.
