We stopped for lunch on a sunny July Saturday - we wanted a couple of starters from the menu and drinks … No - we were told you can only have pizza ! They were too busy with one table of 8 lunching - a few folks having drinks … what !?? It was very warm and humid and didn’t want pizza .. How inflexible and unwelcoming was this … we had a quick soft drink to quench our thirst and left to eat and drink elsewhere - probably won’t return tbh 👎🏻

Cosy friendly pub with tasty food, well kept selection of real ales and good service. One of our favourite local pubs which we visit often. Lovely to eat outside in the summer, with good covered area.

Poor breakfast service on the last day.coffee made in a cafeteria but appeared to be instant .Very weak clear liquid when pored.Sent back but told that’s all the coffee they had. Poor service due to only one staff member working and cooking .Abrupt when we asked for orange juice and it never appeared.

Visited this cosy pub on three occasions while on holiday in Cley. Had lunch there twice, on both occasions very enjoyable. Friendly, efficient service. Early in the week they offer a set mini lunch and drink for £10 which was good value. Lovely rear garden with marquee to relax in and admire the stunning view of the beautiful church. Would definitely return if in the area again.

Came on a Sunday evening. Had 3 courses, nice preparation and presentation. Tasty and varied menu. Enjoyed pork bites and hummus to start, beef roast and roasted hallumi salad for main course with crumble and the cherry and coconut ice cream sundae for dessert with a beer and wine to accompany.

Shocking damp rooms different pictures than advertised 140 a night watch your health in these damp rooms ever1 shame on you ever room damp on walls very over price manger don't care if you complain says that what they do these rooms will make someone ill

What a lovely location and great pub. Staff are fantastic and welcoming, especially the lady (sue i think). Drinks and food really nice and very reasonably priced. We had a 2 night stay, rooms could do with a good refurb, these could be so much nicer. Really in need of some TLC, especially to bathroom areas. However this didnt spoil our stay, we still had a wonderful time.

Such a nice find on a weekend away, lovely pub and lovely food nice staff and a varied wine list, food seved daily and all prepared as you order, we will definatley return on our next visit to Holt,.

Owned and run by two brothers, who obviously take pride in their achievement. The food was good, though a little pretentious, and apart from waiting a while to be served, then discovering we should order at the bar, quite tasty.
We reported that the water heater in our room was not working properly on the day we arrived. It was not fixed by the time we left.
