Be careful reserving a room with this hotel as they gave away our room type before we arrived. We requested a king size bed, the reservation had already been paid & when we arrived, Joann (a real pleasure) informed us that our reservation had been changed to 2 queen beds. She tried to tell us that we changed the room type, but after informing her that we would not have selected the hotel if it did not have the king bed, she dug further into the issue. She finally admitted that the assistant general manger, Karen, changed the reservation without anyone informing us prior to arriving. We called back the hotel about 6 days later after returning from vacation (all other hotels which we stayed were wonderful), and spoke with the front office operations manager named Davey. Davey repeatedly indicated that his hotel could do nothing to remedy the previous situation and/or appease a dissatisfied customer. He deflected routinely throughout the call and informed me that because the reservation was made with *******, any resolution to the matter would have to come from *******. I subsequently called ******* & they quickly gave me a $25 coupon for future reservations (great customer service from them).******* informed me that the hotel and Davey were erroneous in their claim that any refund would need to come from ******* and that the hotel has the ultimate authority to issue a refund. They even called Davey at the hotel and once again he refused to remedy the situation.
