科隆阿茲姆飯店(AZIMUT Hotel Cologne)

Wir waren eine Nacht da, haben direkt über das Hotel gebucht (super Angebot). Wir hatten ein sehr schönes, sauberes, ruhiges Zimmer. Parkplatz vorhanden (aber eng), die Lage ist super zentral. Frühstück vor gut - ein- und auschecken ging super schnell. Alle Mitarbeiter sind wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

prima hotel en super geschikt voor ons doel namelijk bezoek aan de mediapark kliniek. goede ruime kamers en standaard badkamer. zeker in de niet dure periode is de prijs kwaliteits verhouding goed te noemen tijdens ons bezoek was er ook een festival wat de prijs van alle hotel kamers belachelijk opdrijft. ontbijt is ook goed en uitgebreid helaas is er geen restaurant voor het diner en is de bar niet alle dagen open.

Mooie ruime kamers met grote badkamer. Goede bedden. Vlak naast station keulen hansaring. 2 minuten met de trein en je bent in het centrum van keulen. Schoon en het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt. Er is een fitness en sauna

Nice, very specious room but not so clean (old dirt in corners, hairs in bathroom). Very quiet. Asked for a second pillow but had to wait for housekeeping next day. Shower head can benefit from an upgrade. Breakfast was ok. Day old bread, hardly any desert/patries, no green tea).

The gotel is bery clean and modern. It is close to innenstadt. If you come with train from airport, you can get off the train at Haraing station. The hotel is next to station. And the hotel is close to innenstadt with about 12-15 min walk. There are restaurnts around the hotel.

We booked this hotel back in January, when it was called the Azimut Hotel Cologne, for our 2 night April stay. We booked the flexible rate and the tariff description mentioned free breakfast and free upgrade in the superior category. The cost for the 2 nights was €429. One of the main reasons for booking it was the mention in the reviews about its close proximity to the train station. It probably took us 10-15 minutes to walk to/from the train station with our cases. We didn’t like the area the hotel was situated in. Also, the hotel seems to share its building with offices therefore the reception area did not feel like a welcoming, inviting space. We felt the hotel was in need of an update. When we checked in, we were told that our reservation didn’t include breakfast. At that point, I didn’t have my actual copy of the reservation to hand however, once we got to our allocated room, I checked my reservation copy and noted we should have breakfast included plus a free upgrade. When we stopped off at reception to mention this we were told that we had been given an upgraded room. In our opinion, the room didn’t feel like an upgraded superior room but we let that go. (On a positive, the room was big so that could have been what made it an upgraded room. I’m not sure.) The gentleman mentioned that the hotel had been taken over and not all the information had transferred across between the hotel systems. He said he would amend their system to show that breakfast was included. Both mornings, when we went down to breakfast, we were told that we didn’t have breakfast included and we had to explain that we did and they had to ring down to reception to check. (On a positive, although the plates were very small, the breakfast was fine.) Based on the cost, the area the hotel is situated in plus the general feel of the hotel would we book it again or recommend it to friends and family? No. I think there must be far better hotels in better locations for the same price.

The building looks cold and gray, there could be more color to make it cozier. We did the online check-in in advance, which is put in the spotlight on the website, but in the end it turns out that nothing works and the staff knows nothing about it and you still have to check in again the old-fashioned way. when booking it was also stated that we would receive a number of extras, such as a "city bag" (with fruit, water, biscuit, ...) and a map and a discount on parking. the staff knew absolutely nothing about this! eventually we would get that city bag the 2nd day upon our departure, but if we hadn't insisted on it then, we didn't get anything either. we made a reservation for 4 people and this was supposed to be 2 connecting rooms, but we were finally offered a room with 4 beds. the room was very spacious but it was only 2 real beds, the other was an uncomfortable 2 seater sofa bed. it was also way too hot in the room and the pillows were way too flat. no one had slept well!
