薜安山度假村 - 道璽溫德姆飯店(Cheyenne Mountain Resort, A Dolce by Wyndham)

Stayed on my own as part of our conference. Room was good but not 5 star. The view from the room was stunning and the bed was amazing. The staff were friendly but not upfront helpful. Friendly but forthcoming. Breakfast was great, fast and the staff gave priority to seating at the best view on a first come basis which was a nice, considerate touch. The main reception area is beautiful with high timber ceilings with beams and a huge fire. I'd stay again although not that close to shops but Uber was reasonably available and fast.

Amazing. It was my birthday and they sent a bottle of wine to our room.

I was actually very excited to stay here. One, because it is considered a resort. Two, because the photos show beautiful grounds near the lake and mountain range views. Of course, location is gorgeous. However, the resort is severely outdated. The carpets were dirty, the bathroom had some black mold in some parts of the wall. The worst part, however, is food. One of the restaurants was closed for renovations. The other, and only, restaurant served food that was so terrible. Now, we are not fancy foodies, but we also do not eat fast food. We know good food, and we eat good food. Healthy, wholesome, tasty, well-prepared. And the food at this resort was neither. It was so bad that my child who LOVES meat, took a bite of the hamburger and said that she cannot eat it. I took two bites of tacos before realizing that pork was undercooked (which is a big no-no). My Mom only ordered an appetizer, and it was just disgusting. I don't remember what it was. Of course, we brought all this to the attention of staff. Yes, they comped the meal, which we did not eat, after some back and forth arguments that we should not be charged for something that is inedible. But, the experience was ruined. Positives: views, clean beds, quiet location, staff that was actually very nice, despite the negative experience with the food.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend for an event at the Broadmoor World Arena. The hotel is close, the rooms nice and the views and grounds are amazing. They have a good breakfast Buffett.

Beautiful property. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room 206 was okay, heard constant stomping from the people in the room above us, which kept me awake much of the early morning... That was the only disappointment.

We were quite disappointed at our stay. We came for New Year's Eve, and their outdoor pool and outdoor hot tubs were not functional. The food service was terrible. The one pool they had open closed early. There's not much to do at all.

We were disappointed first that our room was not in the main lodge and we were surprised that we had a lot of outside stairs to carry our luggage up. But the most concerning thing was the design of the bathroom. A huge jetted tub might have been nice had there been a separate shower. However trying to get over the high, wide walls of the tub to take a shower was almost impossible and dangerous for seniors. Maid service was very late and requests for basic things like lotion were ignored. Not sure we would spend the money to stay here again.

Wonderful property, upon entering I even thought it would be great place to hold our annual conference, but our room felt a little old and changed my mind. Even though finishes seemed up to date and renovated recently, I never felt comfortable due to a some what dingy feel. The hallway seemed the most clean and recently renovated, however once returning to our room there was takeaway garbage in the hall next to other folks’ room and it was there even when we checked out the next morning at 9am. Also, tv remote didn’t work so the night was tough to get very comfortable with out some background noise.
