Very pleased with my stay at hotel Metropole Suisse. Great location, near to shopping, food and ferry. Hotel staff are lovely. The day of checkout, they even packed me a breakfast box to go! Bathroom was recently updated, very clean and turn down service appeared to have happened while I was at breakfast! No complaints, highly recommend

The property is clean and well-maintained, and it's located in the center of the town so it's easy to get to it e.g. from the train station(Como Lago) and on/off the boats that take you to other towns around Lake Como. In particular, we really liked and appreciated the front desk service. There was a lady there that spoke Italian, English, and a little bit of Russian and she was instrumental in helping us navigating around the area since it was our 1st time here, and helping us solve a big issue related to our luggage being damaged by the airline before we arrived to the hotel. All in all, it was a short but enjoyable stay at this hotel and the lady at the front desk provided exceptional customer service!

What a mess! Horrible room. Bed with bedspread and wool blanket that most likely does not get cleaned between guest uses. Poorly equipped bathroom - very low pressure water in a hand held faucet, no hair conditioner. Room was not well cleaned and was dark. Could not wait to get out of this place!

The hotel was lovely. It was an older building but had everything you needed, with a view of the lake from the balcony. I was a bit concerned that there would be noise from the square outside but with the shutters down I could barely hear anything. The staff were great too.

Great front staff, theybrealybtry to help. But parking in Como just s..... Hotel is perfectly located in main area, can walk from there to any place, take boat for a ride on the lake and many more options

Old hotel, without any confort. This is not even a 3 stars hotel. Bad conditions. The room was very old and not looking at all like the pictures they are using to advertise. Staff was not pleasent. No hot water at all. All the clients were complaining but nobody solved the problem. Room old and not sure about the cleaning.... Location: near the boat station, very noisy and lots of harbour working around. I DON'T recommend at all
