庫納瓦拉布什假日公園(Coonawarra Bush Holiday Park)

We were incredibly disappointed with our stay in the ‘cabin’- reminded of where my friend stays when he’s working up in the mines. Extremely overpriced and nothing like the pictures or description on Airbnb. The cleanliness was questionable- finding black hairs absolutely everywhere (both my parter and I are blonde) 🤮 The left side of the stove top didn’t work, making it almost impossible to make a nice breakfast. Do not even get me started on the couch, harder than a slab of concrete. As for the bed, both my partner and my legs hung off the end. We’re both thoroughly looking forward to our next physio appointment. I am not normally one to complain but it’s a little hard not to when you come away from what was supposed to be a really lovely weekend away and have absolutely nothing positive to say about the accomodation. I used to live on the Limestone Coast and now live in Adelaide. I will not hesitate in telling friends and colleagues about my less than ideal experience. Absolutely no pride taken in this place.

Toilets were a mess and overflowing onto the grass’s area. No toilet paper twice. Neighbours arrives after 10pm with headlights shining in our tent. Believe the tent spacing is too close for any privacy.

We enjoyed our stay. Used it as a central location to do day trips. The chairs provided at our camp needed repair & our feet got dirty coming from the amenities. Beds were very comfortable & clean

We enjoyed stargazing with the provided telescope. Great for looking at the moon and just enough to pick out some binary stars. Common areas like the kitchen and bathrooms were serviceable but not especially clean.

My husband and I thought we’d go way for a relaxing time and glamp for our wedding anniversary . Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy it as much as we thought . We ended up leaving quite tired. Looking back it would of been great for one night to experience glamping. We decided to do it as we saw it on tv. We stayed in the Hamptons 2 Bubble. The positives were *Friendly staff *Electric blanket for cold nights *Kookaburras in the morning was a delight to hear The negatives were *The bubble was way too hot during the day. If you wanted to stay in the bubble to read or relax you couldn’t . There was an air cooler but wasn’t effective during the day as it was in the evening *The mornings were way to bright so you couldn’t sleep in if you wanted to. (Bring an eye mask if considering staying) *One night was so windy that we thought the roof was going to come off and it was so loud that we didn’t sleep. Another night there was a baby crying the whole night so another night no sleep. *We didn’t like the idea of the cutlery , tea and coffee etc in the area where toilet was ( have in photos) This should be in the area where bed is not the toilet . We didn’t use it at all as a definite no no in our books. *The bath towel was so small that I think a nice bath sheet would of been an added luxury *Expensive for what you got . I’ve looked at prices of bnb’s and you can get so much more for a lot less Somethings to consider before booking. Check out weather. If you want it quieter don’t go public holidays or school holidays . This was just our experience. We were looking forward to going home to have a good night sleep which we clearly didn’t while staying there.

To say this is an amazing location is an understatement; surrounded by nature and the perfect atmosphere to watch a sunset and drink wine from nearby wineries, we were pretty impressed. We stayed in a glamping tent, where the beds were super comfy, and seperate bathroom facilities were clean and provided more of a at-home experience instead of the usual caravan park cubicle grossness. On the other hand, was it really ‘glamping’? It kind of just felt like a regular tent with a bed and a kettle and esky chucked in there. Having previously been glamping, where a bar fridge, interior decor and a general luxurious vibe were included, and that being confirmed again when glamping at our next destination, underwhelmed is the feeling that comes to mind. Additionally, the outdoor seating provided included two broken seats, one that was rusty and looking a bit unsafe. The shared kitchen faculties were great, but the whole place needed a good clean. There were books and magazines available, but for what, it was pretty unclear… when I want to tidy a place, there’s something not right. Finally, in my quest to take the perfect snap of the last of the sunset (spectacular), a dog came out of the main building, running towards me and barking furiously. It appeared to belong to the owner. I’m a dog lover, so for me to be scared of a dog is pretty strange. Additionally, on a light night trip to the bathroom, I met a very friendly cat. I’m all for meeting cats but I think keeping a cat outside, on a property that borders a nature reserve, is incredibly irresponsible. I may sound like a bit of a Negative Nancy, but this place is so beautiful and could almost be perfect with a few basic changes.

Great caravan/glamping/cabin park for families WITH your dog! This site was so family friendly that it reminded me of my childhood family camping trips. We stayed in an ensuite cabin but you can take your van or tent or even get a glamping tent. We were very comfortable and you can even use the communal kitchen to cook up your breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Tent city, crowded park, shared kitchen, bathrooms, banked up outdoor toilet next to tent that could not used advertised as “ensuite”.

What a great night away we had, open fire and a million stars.
